| | Normal Position Goodly Time CD Normal Position Discography of CDs
Position Normal was the name chosen for the brief, lo-fi but glorious sound operations, that were put together by ex-art students Chris Bailiff and John Cushway.Virtually every second of this incredible lost album, is a joy to behold.Yet I can’t say why, it just has this great way to relax you while also putting a smile on your face.Thinking about the belisha headgear in that photo and only previously hearing two tracks, I thought I’d better get myself a copy. I was immediately hooked.Could this be a british version of The Residents?A more updated Renaldo & The Loaf maybe?Position Normal apparently made one other (self-released) album......but I’m damned if I can find it, which only adds up to their whole mystique.NOW IT"S HERE! | | Rosanne Cash List CD (2009)
Goodly Time
$11.99 After the dark and chilling themes of 2006's BLACK CADILLAC, which saw Rosanne Cash dealing with the deaths of her mother, Vivian Liberto, her father, Johnny Cash, and her stepmother, June Carter Cash -- all of whom passed within a two-year span -- one might assume that her next project would move into an even deeper level of bleakness, but with THE LIST, it's immediately clear that she has instead found a more measured place to stand. It's a ...

| | Jo Morrison Flights Of Fantasy CD (2008)
Goodly Time
$17.09 Jo Morrison is nationally known for her evocative interpretation of Scottish and Irish music on the harp. Chuck Lipsig from Green Man Review's Best of 2000 listings states "Jo gets more out of the harp than should be possible."Having spent several months in 2005 teaching, writing music, and performing on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, Jo's knowledge and understanding of the Celtic genre puts her in great demand as performer, adjudicator, and teacher across the country. “Morrison is at ease with this authentic Celtic music, and lends to it a sense of honest exuberance I find refreshing.” -- The Harp Column. She frequently performs with the Celtic duo, Port Righ, featuring harp and shuttle pipe, the Highland Pipe's quieter cousin. The duo has performed concerts at locations such as the Library of Congress, Somerset Harp Festival, the Smithsonian, various Scottish Festivals around the United States and also in Scotland, Ireland, and Germany. Their commitment to a traditional style gives them a sound comfortable both in today's modern society and also fitting for Renaissance festivals, historic sites, and other re-creationist events. Port Righ released their first recording in 2007: "Na Bi Górach – Don't be Foolish."When not performing, Jo spends her time teaching harp privately and in classes and workshops, and composing and arranging Celtic music for the Celtic harp. She is ...

| | Bob Cheevers Fiona's World CD (2008)
Goodly Time
$13.29 Bob Cheevers BioBob Cheevers has earned a place in the landscape now called Americana Music having charted Top 20 in that genre with his last two CDs. Bob grew up in Memphis and got a soul full of music not only from the icons of his youth such as Elvis and Johnny Cash but also from his mother, who was a radio star during the Great Depression performing with the Big Bands of that era. A hundred year old photo of his grandmother graces the cover of his Gettysburg To Graceland CD. From an early age, Bob’s creative feet were firmly planted in Mississippi Delta mud, and his songs began to feature characters whose lives reflected the life style along the rivers of the South over the past hundred years. Bob has spent the last 6 years touring relentlessly in Europe as well as doing house concerts and venues in the US. His favorite "accolade" is having been personally asked by Johnny Cash to join Cash on what would become Cash's final tour. Bob's songs include tales of romance, a personal look at the world thru his own eyes and character studies of people who were caught up in the Civil War... rootsy, blues flavoured tales of the Mississippi Delta delivered in a conversational language of the heart. A master tune-smith, Bob is rounding out his 4th decade as a songwriting troubadour, About his songs he says, "I don't know if these stories are true, but they happened to me". ACCOMPLISHMENTS: • Six commercial CDs 2 of which charted Americana Top 20. • Selected by Johnny Cash to open Cash’s final tour. • Winner of prestigious Kerrville New Folk competition. • Winner of Napa Valley Folk Festival Songwriting Award. • Emmy Award for Music Video of "Big City Gambler" • Sang theme song to Love American ...
