| | Terri Brinegar As I Am CD Terri Brinegar Discography of CDs
Terri has been surrounded by music from a very young age - her parents were Bluegrass musicians. At the age of 9, Terri began violin lessons with the idea that she’d play fiddle in the family band. However, her classical music training lead her in a different direction. She chose upon classical voice as her major study at North Texas State University, with a full academic scholarship. She was the winner of many state-wide competitions and graduated with honors. New York City was her next venture when she was accepted into the famed Juilliard School of Music. Terri soon realized though that she did not want a professional career as an opera singer. So she moved to Los Angeles where she was exposed to many other thriving genres of music, namely Rock & Roll, Blues, R&B, and Soul. It was here she joined her first band and started writing music. She sang in many Blues and R&B bands and even performed at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, the Catalina Blues Festival, House of Blues, BB King’s Blues Club, and countless concert venues. In January of 2006, she moved to Nashville to begin her next journey, focusing on songwriting and of course, singing. As I Am
$6.19 The '60s Blues Revival begins here. Calling this album influential is an understatement akin to calling the Grand Canyon a rut; suffice to say that an entire generation of musicians (mostly young and white) heard this and had their lives changed forever. In fact, for at least a year after the album's release in 1965, it was impossible to walk down the hall of any college dorm in America without hearing one of the songs here ...

$23.65 Take Speedo (ex Rocket from the Crypt Hot Snakes riff architect, Drive Like Jehu). Then add the black Irish of Dner (ex Hot Snakes). Now reinforce these bad intentions with Thee Mount Olympus of all rhythm sections. Literally, an all-Greek powerhouse, J. Sinclair K. propels these files with the same vintage overload he brought on the drums while steering Hot Snakes, Delta 72, Bardo Pond and Mule. Add newcomer Thomas Kitsos, aka Titus Gangbangus of CPC Gangbangs fame, laying a heavy pipe on the four string bass guitar and you've got The Night Marchers. See You In Magic is THE NIGHT MARCHERS' first record. The band entered the newly constructed City of Refuge studio in the fall of 2007 and emerged with these downloads. The studio's black lava walls are located under the landing flight path of San Diego International Airport, so the sound of jet engines can be heard throughout the files. From the Byrds-cum-Wipers barrel of "Jump In The Fire" to the vibrating Bo Diddley meets Dez Cadena of "Closed For Inventory" ...

As I Am
$20.25 For as long as I can remember, I have been in love with music. I was raised in a small town in central Pennsylvania and, thanks to my parents' love of music, I was exposed to all different styles while growing up. As a result, I've been influenced and inspired by everyone from Mozart to Madonna - and everyone in between. I grew up listening to: the Beatles, the Fifth Dimension, the Carpenters, Billy Joel, Elton John, the Who, the Temptations, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Peter Allen, James Taylor, Carole King, Paul McCartney, and many more…the list is endless. Currently, my influences are: Alanis Morissette, Sara Bareilles, John Mayer, the Dave Matthews Band, the Beatles (still), Melissa Etheridge, and more…again, the list is endless.Throughout my childhood, I sang in church choirs and participated in as many talent shows and competitions as I could. While in high school, I sang the National Anthem at sporting events and sang in various choral groups and small a capella ensembles. In college, I majored in music and, a little less than a year after graduation, I moved to Orlando, FL.Since moving here, I've written and recorded two CDs, "Let the Girl Sing" and "Leap of Faith." I work with an amazing producer - Frank Starchak - at the Deltona Arts and Historical Center in Deltona, FL. I also perform in local festivals, fundraisers, clubs, etc throughout the central Florida area as well as other places around the country. In addition to live performances, I also sing on other musician's and artist's recording projects. In addition to writing and recording my own music, I am also a member of the singing group, Sing Live USA. With them, I have performed at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, the Linda Chapin Theater and in the Candlelight Processional at Epcot in Walt Disney World. In 2008, I ...
