| | Kristine W Boss CD (2008)
Up The Rock album
$11.39 Once again, pop phenomenon Kristine W is proving why she remains the boss of the dance floor. Her latest release, “The Boss”, a remake of Diana Ross’ 1979 classic, is making a quick ascent up the Billboard Dance charts.Kristine W. holds the title as the first artist in the history of Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play to release nine consecutive number one singles (beating records previously held by Madonna and Janet Jackson who each had seven). She achieved her tenth #1 hit with last summer’s “Walk Away”. She aims to score lucky eleven this winter.“The Boss is one of the records that I used to sing in front of the mirror when I was a kid,” explained Kristine W, upon hearing the news of the songs promising debut on the Billboard chart. “It's so fun for me to have been able to put my own twist on the classic.”Hailing from Pasco, Washington, the accomplished singer, musician, songwriter and producer began her career in beauty pageants. She won the titles of Miss Tri-Cities and Miss Washington and placed first in the talent competition at the Miss America pageant. She then moved to Las Vegas and headlined her own show at the Las Vegas Hilton. Numerous accolades followed, including several Las Vegas “Entertainer of the Year” awards. Kristine performed more live shows at the Las Vegas Hilton than any other performer in its history—including Elvis. In fact, June 28, 1998 was officially sanctioned Kristine W day in the state of Nevada. In 1995, Kristine hit the top of the national dance music charts with the now classic Feel What You Want. She signed with RCA Records and released the 1997 critically acclaimed album, LAND OF THE LIVING, featuring the #1 Billboard smashes One More Try, Feel What You Want and the album's title track, Land of the Living. In 2000, she released her second album from RCA Records, ...

| | Bo Ramsey Fragile CD (2008)
Up The Rock songs
$14.19 GRAMMY-NOMINATED PRODUCER AND GUITARIST BO RAMSEY RETURNS WITH “FRAGILE”RELEASE MARKS RAMSEY’S FIRST ALBUM OF ALL ORIGINAL MUSIC IN TEN YEARS Despite the title of his new album, Bo Ramsey’s guitar playing and songwriting are anything but fragile. Perhaps most widely recognized for his amazing guitar prowess on Lucinda William’s Grammy award-winning CD “Car Wheels On A Gravel Road,” as well as his work playing on and producing records for the preeminent singer/songwriter Greg Brown and rising star Pieta Brown, Bo Ramsey will release “Fragile” on April 8, 2008. This is his first new album of all original music in ten years and somewhat ironically, his strongest work to date. The album, Bo’s eleventh in his 30-year career, features 11 new songs all written or co-written by Ramsey, and finds him firmly at the forefront of a resurging Iowan musical renaissance, tastefully supported by world-class, Midwest-based musicians.“Fragile” was recorded in 2007 at Minstrel Studio in Iowa City, Iowa and mixed at Mastermix Studios in Minneapolis. The album was co-produced by critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Pieta Brown (who also plays piano and keyboards on the record) and features, among others, drummer Steve Hayes (Greg Brown, Jeffrey Foucault), bassist Jon Penner (Junior Brown, Sue Foley), keyboardist Ricky Peterson (Prince, John Mayer, Stevie Nicks), and Bo’s son Benson Ramsey (The Pines) on keyboards.“The title track ‘Fragile,’ reflects the artistic process,” remarks Ramsey. “We live in such a fragile time and need to remember that our lives are also fragile.”Greg Brown says, “This collection of songs ...
