| | Pete Mroz Detachment CD Pete Mroz Discography of CDs
Pete Mroz has been around the block and is "deep in the streets". He has probably lived in ten states, including Texas, Mississippi, and Connecticut. With a nomadic heart and a restless mind Pete Mroz reaches through his music for elusive beauty and unfettered love that is growing obsolete at an alarming rate. There is a crisis at hand and Pete Mroz is the inexhaustible hero. Just listen to his voice and you’ll understand that he has tapped into something "as real as real gets". It is beyond emotional and deeply soulful, it is LOVE, itself. And he can’t stop himself! Pete’s first disc was "54 Days on Blue Planet". Stand out songs like "What Does It Mean" and "(I am) The Man" showcase Pete’s strong blues roots and firmly establish him in the company of John Mayer’s "Continuum" and Eric Clapton’s "Pilgrim (for your love)". And while Pete may have "took himself to school" at the feet of Robert Johnson, "The Least I Can Do" would make any seasoned Nashville songwriter seethe with reckless jealousy. Pete Mroz is a fUNCKY mOTHER hUBBARD! Houdini was too. Now Pete Mroz is coming out with his sophomore release "Detachment". Pete Mroz will not go away. He’s gonna keep coming at you. He says he’s true to his love, he calls her "music". MAYA ANGELOU (writer: Why The Caged Bird Sings) once said that "Everything you do is political. Whatever side of the bed you get up on is political." Well i say that Pete Mroz is the coup that will bring down big money!!!! How many lives will be lost to the tyranny of paper cuts? POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!! WE ARE OUR OWN BOSSES!!! And as I was once heard to remark . . . "His musical resolutions are very satisfying." Detachment songs
$15.95 THE TRIBEThe Tribe began in 1994 with five members, all coming from various bands in Gallatin,Tennessee (about 25 miles east of Nashville). Originally, we began to get together just to remember the good times and play music at a friend's house; little did we know the magic that was about to happen. After our first jam session we felt pretty good about the band. We had known each other over the years and the capabilities of each player, since we each had played in competing bands across town. We just couldn't give it up; there was a love for the music that just wouldn't die. We did not know what was to take place, but felt that SOMETHING would, if we would just have the faith. So we began. At first we thought that we would play a few cover songs and play a few gigs and then it happened: Like magic, we were recording every pratice and as we listened back, we said, "hey thats a pretty cool tune we should try to make something of it". Pretty soon, we had our first original song and then it just clicked. Before we knew it we had song after song. It was such a great feeling to come to practice and not know what was going to happen and by the end of the night when we would listen back to a practice tape a new song evolved. Each of the members had been in various bands for years, most of us could sit and tell you alot of hype. I know for myself I played for a living for seven years and had opportunity to go on the road and play for some big names, but I was loyal to the bands I was with, so I stayed with them. When it was said and done, I was back to having a day gig (probably 99% of the musicians out there could say that), but thats life. When this band began, I felt something very special and it was just in the air and the music just flowed. On a whim, we entered a battle of the bands in Nashville. It was a blues contest and we were not a blues band, but we went anyway. To our surprise, we won against some pretty tough competion. After that, we got some pretty good gigs, still writing our music and expanding our song list. We recorded our first album ("CRAZY"). It consisted of ten songs, but with no backing, it was a trophy. A few months down the road, and the band broke up for about a year. Then our singer, Robert Burns, got a call from the booking agent in charge of the talent at an annual "Cinco de Mayo" gig we had played in years past. Robert called all the players to see if we would be interested in doing ...
| | Emily Schiavi Sky Is Still The Same CD (2008)
Detachment album
$15.95 About the CDEmily Schiavi has spent years of musical expression, developing her song-writing skills, playing in different bands in different lands and in different languages and singing on numerous albums recorded in Jerusalem and other various cities around the world! :) When finally, in the fall of 2007, she began the process of recording her own first full length album, bringing the many lyrics, chords and melodies to life. And so, "The Sky is Still the Same" was officially released in April 2008. The album was recorded at a wonderful studio in Tel Aviv and includes all of 14 songs - one hymn and 13 originals (mostly written during her 5 years as a volunteer in the Middle East) as well as a song created spontaneously in a 'live' studio recording. Some ...

Brother Lou is Lou Dominguez, a singer songwriter from Hollywood, Florida. In the tradition of folksingers, Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, Brother Lou has a distinct point of view. His songs are brash, sometimes in your face, and honest. When you've listened to this CD, As Good As You Want, you know exactly where Brother Lou stands.Brother Lou plays guitar, slide, and harmonica. He's joined ...

Detachment CD music
$13.15 Chris Davis - Patience Is A Virtue by Michael Ross (outlawmagazine.com) Chris Davis, a Seattle based Rock and Roller (with a previous release entitled My Anxiety), has gone Country. But not in the way many artists today genre-swap as a ploy to get more fans and any ol' audience will do. No, instead Davis has gotten back to the roots of his upbringing, the solid based country sounds of Waylon Jennings and Co., and fused it with his rock ...
