I am a singer, songwriter and guitarist from northern Germany. In 2003, I moved to Rotterdam to study music at the Dutch university for the arts, Codarts. While pursuing my masters degree in music, I performed with a variety of musicians, including but not limited to, the riff-rock band "Cropduster", the Dutch folk duo "the almosts", and David Bowie's pianist, Mike Garson.In early 2008, I released my self-produced debut album "For the Love of Sound", which combines both mellow acoustic and up-tempo guitar pop. My music caught the attention of famed European DJ and producer, "DJ Shah", who then collaborated with me to produce a trance version of "Don't Wake Me Up". The song quickly entered the Dutch music charts and received further popularity from the music video released on MTV/TMF.In search of new opportunities and muscial diversity, I moved to New York City in the summer of 2008.
