As always, THE END OF THE WORLD features Londoner Stephen Coates's trademark blend of 1930s jazz and modern electronica. On this effort, however, his focus is primarily on the former. Although there are a handful of songs where the synthesizers take precedence (the eerie "Epitaph For A Dream"), Coates mostly sticks to the Al Bowlly-inspired trad jazz crooner side of his musical personality on tunes such as the lovely "I'll See You In My Dreams" and the dreamy "What It Takes." A perfect late-night listen, THE END OF THE WORLD is The Real Tuesday Weld's best effort so far.

End Of The World songs
$18.55 New deep trance version and mixes of multi million selling Zodiaks theme from their all times best selling Latvian album ever- Disco alliance. Listen the new great mixes! The music style named "Disco» has quickly become popular among the millions Soviet music fans and simple listeners of the big population. It was appeared in USSR in the middle 70-ies and was presented by the creativity of such widely known groups as ABBA, Boney M., Space, Arabesque, Village People, Eruption, Dschinghis Khan. The numerous professional and amateurish vocal-instrumental bands were dominating on the native platform in those days. The musical compositions of foreign idols were willingly executing. Native ensembles were singing their songs in Russian. The VIA (vocal instrumental ensemble) format: percussions, a bass-guitar, some rhythm-guitars, a synthesizer - was intended for the lively execution of the popular music at the concerts and dance pavilions. It was appropriate for the native popular songs, but quite not for the studio sound disco-music. By the end of 70-ies Janis Lusens has created a band "Zodiaks" in the heart of the Latvian State J.Vitols Conservatory. This group was basically concentrated on studio work. Janis Lusensens also periodically cooperated with the ARCA group of Juris Kulakovs. This group was popular by playing their jazz-rock compositions on the amateur stage. All of the "Zodiaks" initial band participants was the students of Latvian State Conservatory: Zane Griva (has been playing keyboard instruments in the group) had been studying the piano class, a guitarist Andris Silis - a contrabass class and a timpanist Andris Rainis with a bass player Ajnars Ashmanis had been studying at the department of wind instruments. The group produced the debut album “Disco Alliance” in the firm “Melody” in 1981. It made an instant, although a short-lived furor all over the Soviet Union territory. The disk became like an answer to a phenomenon of European dancing electronics, in particular, of the French group SPACE.A lot of records have been drawn and bought up instantly in our huge country. This group became popular among all ages. There was hardly any family, which hadn’t bought the first album of Zodiaks. Besides such talented compositor as Lusens, Alexander Griva was one of the best sound producers of the country. His name was mentioned on many records. This person was playing an important role in ...
