Big Dreams Little Tokyo DVD Boyd, a self-proclaimed businessman convinced he's Japanese, and his roommate Jerome, a sluggish but affable Japanese-American sumo wrestler, have big dreams for themselves. Together, the two travel door-to-door by tandem bike, giving flyers and sales pitches to anyone who listens…but Boyd's Japanese clients aren't buying his "Translation Services," and no one will give Jerome—a paltry 200 pounds—a chance in the ring. When they meet Mia, who is unfazed by their oddities and offers a hand, Boyd and Jerome discover that in a world where cultural identity is seldom what it seems, there's a place for everyone.

$10.09 JAIL BREAKERS: South Korean director Sang-jin Kim (ATTACK OF THE GAS STATION, KICK THE MOON) crafts another madcap romp fueled by quirky characters and outlandish situations in his zany prison comedy JAIL BREAKERS. Popular South Korean actors Kyung-gu Sol and Seung-won Cha star as prison cellmates Mu-suk and Jae-pil, who have been planning their escape and digging an underground route for years. But when the daring duo finally do make their breakout, they discover that they were about to be released for parole and launch a desperate bid to break back into prison before the kimchi hits the fan. Littered with references to THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, this slapstick buddy movie was one of South Korea's top-grossing films of 2002.
JUNGLE JUICE: South Korean writer/director Min-ho Cho fashions a slapstick, buddy-movie crime caper against a backdrop of alienated youth culture in his zany action-comedy JUNGLE JUICE. Ki-tae (Hyuk Jang) and Cheol-su (Beom-su Lee) are two wannabe-gangsters trying to insinuate themselves into the local mob ring by working as low-level lackeys. When they ineptly botch an important drug deal and have to repay the missing money, the enterprising duo embark upon an unlikely ...

Big Dreams Little Tokyo film
$18.05 Adapted from the stage play, TYLER PERRY'S MEET THE BROWNS is a touching family drama and very funny romantic comedy rolled into one. Angela Bassett gives one of the best performances of her career as Brenda, a single mother trying to raise three children, from three different men, in the Chicago projects. After the plant where she works with her best friend, Cheryl (Sofia Vergara), closes down, she can no longer afford her rent, electricity, or day care. But when a surprise letter arrives telling her that the father she never knew has died, and inviting her to the reading of the will and the funeral in Georgia, she has nowhere else to go, so she and her kids, Michael (Lance Gross), Tosha (Chloe Bailey), and Lena (Mariana Tolbert), head down south to meet her half-sisters and -brothers. Her newfound extended family includes the overemotional Vera (Jenifer Lewis), who is suspicious of Brenda; the wacky Leroy Brown (David Mann), who mangles the English language and wears some hysterical outfits; and the steady L.B. (Frankie Faison), who is married to the sweet and caring Sarah (Margaret Avery) and has become the patriarch now that Pops Brown has died. In the meantime, Michael, a high school basketball star, is being pursued by Harry (Rick Fox), a talent scout who is also interested in Brenda. Bassett is outstanding as the dedicated mother who sacrifices her personal life in order to do whatever she can for her children. But Mann nearly steals the show as the wild and crazy Leroy, especially during the funeral scene (outtakes of which run during the closing credits). Perry, the creator of such hit films as DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN and ...
