this is a real suprise
i buy the headhunter albums purely because of the Destruction relation with schmier. This band will never be Destruction in its might but they are a good band and this album is the best of their 4. its thrashy but has melody and it has that familiar Schmier vocal delivery which makes it worth the purchase.

Destruction?
Of course many know Headhunter as Schmier's side band, the band Schmier had formed after he left Destruction in the early 90s. Now we see a new Headhunter album before the upcoming Destruction album. Headhunter is not all that differant from Schier's main band. Sadly, Headhunter follows the same trend as the most recent (post reunion)Destruction releases. Even though there may be two or three killer tracks on the album, its not enough to save the albums as a whole. 'Parasites Of Society' and 'SilverSkull' are deffinately the strong points here. The remainder of the album comes off fair to poor, hardly able to hold my attention. And Im not even going to mention the cover of Skid Row's '18 and Life.' Other than the two aformentioned tracks, this album is like having a veggie delight at Subway, wheres the meat.
