Soundtrack English After reinvigorating the world of the Caped Crusader with BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT, Christian Bale wants to restart a new franchise with this fourth film in the Terminator series. The Welsh actor plays John Connor, who joins forces with Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) to battle Skynet. TERMINATOR SALVATION is directed by McG (CHARLIE'S ANGELS). Terminator Salvation Reviews: "In McG's new world order, the machines now rule with enforcers of every shape imaginable roaming the the land....[T]here are enough pyrotechnics and heavy artillery to feel like Armageddon squared....-- Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times "The first two-thirds of the film features an array of impressive setpieces that bring the trademark TERMINATOR action sensibility -- quivering flesh and fragile machingery versus the pitiless approach of unfeeling circuits -- into a dusty, post-nuclear hellscape on loand from THE ROAD WARRIOR."-- A.V. Club, A.V. Club "[The movie] has a brute integrity lacking in some of the other seasonal franchise movies....[The action is] loud and blunt, a symphony of screaming gears, anguished torque and thumping collisions of metal and flesh."-- A. O. Scott, New York Times "The world McG presents to us is scorched and hostile, and the action is startling and visceral. Significantly, TERMINATOR SALVATION takes itself far more seriously than its predecessors."-- John Anderson, Washington Post "Mr. Worthington's specialty is taking command of the camera. It's fascinating to watch him dominate scene after scene with his coiled energy, compelling voice and quick intelligence."Wall Street Journal "Bale brings the role his usual stylish, seething edge..."-- Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly Terminator Salvation | List Price | $28.98 (You save $7.53) | | Studio | Warner Home Video | | Orig Year | 2009 | | DVD Encoding | Region 1 | | CD Universe Part number | 7684752 | | Catalog number | 1000042736 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | New Terminator Salvation DVD release date Dec 01, 2009 | | Rating | PG-13 (MPAA) | | Also Known As | Terminator: Salvation | | Running Time | 115 Minutes | | Additional Info | Widescreen; With Digital Copy | | Movie Details | Color; Widescreen; With Digital Copy; WS; Includes Digital Copy |
Terminator Salvation Video Terminator Salvation Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) awesome This is the best of the series by far in my opion. The action sequences are unbelieveable. You have to see this movie on dvd when it comes out because it will blow your mind. And the way it ended I think there might be a terminator 5. Terminator Salvation Rocks ! A real tour de force action movie with a great cast. A capitivating story of Redemption and Sacrifice. Sam Worthington is the real star of this movie, even though Christian Bale gets top billing.
An engaging story from start to finish with eye popping special effects. Roll on Terminator 5. Submitted by dingbatandarchie (Christchurch Nz) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 2 of 3 found this helpful.

Terminator Salvation video
$14.39 The early 2000s have seen a string of big-budget remakes of classic horror films. In addition to THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and THE HILLS HAVE EYES, John Carpenter's benchmark slasher flick HALLOWEEN has been given a new-millennial overhaul. At the helm of the project sits rocker Rob Zombie, whose previous films, HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, brought a fan's touch and an auteur's vision to the director's chair. While Zombie's HALLOWEEN is faithful to Carpenter's vision, there are some obvious changes, the most pronounced of these being the substantial focus on Michael Myers's childhood. The film posits Michael (played by a creepily vacant Daeg Faerch) as a troubled child made all the worse by a horrible home life--wonderfully illustrated via William Forsythe's performance as Deborah Myers's boyfriend--and constant abuse at school. Zombie paints Michael's pain with palpable grit and sleaze, but he isn't out to put our culture on the couch--he simply wants to show Michael killing his family. With the exception of Michael's therapy sessions while incarcerated, the film, post-massacre, stays loyal to the original.
Zombie's film is clearly the work of a filmmaker who knows and loves the genre. The director's ...

Terminator Salvation film
GRINDHOUSE is the cinematic equivalent of Bach and Beethoven adding their touch to a boy-band song. Master directors Quentin Tarantino (PULP FICTION) and Robert Rodriguez (SIN CITY) indulge their inner fanboys and team up for this homage to their favorite B-movies. Rodriguez's film, PLANET TERROR, is an old-fashioned zombie film that's infused with enough gore and giggles to please even Peter Jackson (BAD TASTE). Rose McGowan (CHARMED) plays Cherry, a go-go dancer whose night is interrupted by a vicious zombie attack that leaves her missing a leg. Her ex-boyfriend, Wray (Freddy Rodriguez, SIX FEET UNDER), takes charge, fashioning her a new leg from a machine gun and killing zombies along the way. In Tarantino's DEATH PROOF, Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) stalks beautiful women with his deadly vintage car. When he picks a trio of tough girls (Rosario Dawson, Tracie Thoms, and Zoe Bell), he learns they aren't such easy prey.
This double feature plays as a three-hour ode to the horror and exploitation films that once played in grimy grindhouses across the country. As with any Tarantino film, there are plenty of nods to ...

Terminator Salvation DVD
$27.79 When choosing which mutant hero they would use to launch the X-MEN feature-film prequel series ORIGINS, the creators of the hugely successful franchise had a no-brainer of a decision in going with Wolverine. Not only is he the most well-known and popular X-Men character, but Wolverine--as brought expertly to life in true leading-man fashion by Hugh Jackman--was essentially the star of the three previous X-MEN movies.
As the title implies, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE is the back story of the fiery and conflicted Wolverine (né James Logan), whose mutant powers include killer claws that shoot from his knuckles and a regenerative ability that allows him to live seemingly forever. Taking a few mild liberties but staying relatively faithful to the comic-book source material, ORIGINS follows Logan from his first recognition of his mutant powers as a young child up through his infamous adamantium rebirth and the total memory loss that would subsequently fuel his angry quest. Wolverine’s story has enough intriguing details to allow for a grown-up psychodrama in the mold of THE DARK KNIGHT, and the actors on hand--including Danny Huston as Stryker and Liev Schreiber as Logan’s half-brother, Victor (aka Sabretooth)--have the chops to deliver. Director Gavin Hood, however, opts in favor of cinematic razzle-dazzle heavy on John Woo-style action-ballet and CGI glitz. From Deadpool’s eye-popping swordplay (the action-adventure equivalent of Riverdance) to the tightrope-walk of a fight ...

$9.39 Laura Hillenbrand's best-selling nonfiction novel comes to life with this spectacular big-screen adaptation.
