Hello, Frisco, Hello Movie Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) Entertaining It was fun to go down memory lane and enjoy a good 'ol time musical. For those who enjoy the early years when musicals were the "in thing, " will surely like this one.

Oldie but goodie!!! As a senior citizen who loves the old musicals, Hello, Frisco, Hello ranks among the best. Alice Faye & John Payne are a great team with wonderful voices. The plot has nothing unexpected. I remember this from the 40's & will watch the DVD often if just for the songs. Submitted by luvretmt (Great Falls, MT) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Talk about a musical! Take Alice Faye and John Payne, Add Jackie Oakie and June Havoc together with a decent script and some really tuneful lyrics and what have you got? Only a film called "Hello Frisco Hello". Probably the finest musical to come out of 20th Centuary Fox. This film will hold its own with all the so called musical classics. Best musical ever filmed In my opinion this is one of the greatest movies ever made. The top actors and actresses give excellent performances and the music is simply the best. It may be that I prefer musicals but I seem to never tire of watching "Hello Frisco Hello" Submitted by a reviewer (Dallas, TX, USA) Was This Review Helpful?
