BeatRed\'s story (so far) is mostly my story......I started as a drummer in the first German band to be signed straight to an American major label (Vamp to Atlantic records). While in Vamp I toured all over Europe and the UK. At one of our gigs Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden’s singer, was present. One year later he called to offer me the drum throne on his Solo World tour..Good Times.. This experience landed me in London, where I became a founding member of the UK rock band Skin – we had several top twenty singles and a No.1 ...

Ever Changing Times CD music
$14.85 (MP3 Available for Download) IT´S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP...For about 10 years now German band LINKWORK has been romping about the playground of loud rock music to meet their expectation of noisy-melodic-punk-pop. If you like, you can put them into the category of \"Emocore\", but these guys found their roots much earlier with bands like Dag Nasty, Jingo De Lunch and Bad Brains, than with Jimmy eat world and co.After such long years of apprenticeship, the sympathetic four now present their first full album \"Down the Drain\" to show, that they have finally reached ther first step to masterhood.Already when founded in 1995 there were first signs of upcoming storm. The first demo EP \"Linkwork\" was recorded in 1996, the band got attention of the \"Visions\"-Magazine and played as opener for e.g. SNFU, Chinadrum, Tilt, Good Riddance on the sessionstage at Bizarre Festival 1997. But the last bit luck to gain the big breakthrough left out. So in the time to come the guys played a number of gigs all over Germany, but this time it would be more the kind of• home game• \"Free Abu Simbel!\" festivals• drive 249 kilometres and then play in front of 10 to 12 professional-, parttime- or hobby-alcoholics• sleep at the guy with the Che Guevera t-shirt or in your car!• money for the fuel, a six pack of beer, cheers & thank you!Having released the second demo EP \"Behind the Back\" (2001), LINKWORK recorded the third demo EP \"Roots\" in 2003, coming much closer to the sound they had in mind. The people responsible for the programme \"Heimatkult\" at EINSLIVE radio station (a very large & popular radio station in Germany) very much liked the sound of the \"Roots\"-EP and so the track \"Pardon Me\" was broadcasted in early 2004. In order to get a broader guitar sound André Küpry (33, guitar & vocals), Jörn Vogler (28, bass) und Thomas \"Tom\" Rowecki (33, drums) got Peter \"Pitti\" Jannusch (31, guitar) on board, thus completed the actual LINKWORK line-up, and now guarantee a wall of guitars that will blow you away. But the \"Roots\"-EP also raised attention at another place and LINKWORK were asked to play at the Wuppertaler Rockförderpreis 2004, a local - but valuable - rock music competition. They didn´t win the big prize there, but this time luck smiled from another direction. Having seen musical performance and a rioting mosh pit, the small label \"This World?...On Fire!!\" saw LINKWORK being the winner of this competition and first contact was made. First talks took place after LINKWORK completed a short Berlin tour with Alice D. Being in agreement soon, the search for a suitable ...
