In hopes of raising a few quid after their steel factory shuts down, a desperate group of working-class blokes in Sheffield decide to form an exotic male dance troupe, a la Chippendales, with one difference--despite their, well, average-at-best physiques, they're going to go "the full monty," meaning they'll offer their audience total nudity. Surprisingly bittersweet moments and well-intentioned social commentary imbue this raucous, feel-good comedy from England. Academy Award Nominations: 4, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Original Musical or Comedy Score. Academy Award: Best Original Musical or Comedy Score. Full Monty Soundtrack Video Full Monty Soundtrack Movie Review Amusing, witty, English humour Probably one of the most humerous films of Northern England, showing how unemployed Northern English men can be at their best in the worst of situations. The film made me laugh from start ot finish and leaves you on a high at the end. It's one of those films that you just don't forget and can watch again and again and still enjoy. Overrated This is supposed to be the best comedy about the down-and-out coming out on top. It is funny for one viewing but does not stand up to repeated watching. The best thing about the film is Mark Addy's performance. Submitted by tintin84105 (Woods Cross, UT, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
A funny Hot Stuff movie! Different type of unemployed Englishmen will take unexpected risks and go through many funny adventures just to overtake their personal problems in a difficult society in which they live in. These six celebrities are going to start preparing the last job they could have imagined to do... and what a job! Definitely, this movie is one of my favorite comedies from the 90s. I assure it wont disappoint you, unless youve lost your sense of humor! Submitted by christian_grierson (Madrid, SPAIN) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

| | Phineas & Ferb Phineas and Ferb: Songs From the Hit Disney Tv Series CD (2009) Digipak
Full Monty Soundtrack review
$10.65 For anyone hasn't watched episodes of the Disney animated series PHINEAS AND FERB, it's highly recommended. It is a Saturday morning cartoon comedy that stars two irrepressibly inventive, multi-talented mischievous nerd geniuses (who happen to be stepbrothers), their vain, hyperactive, scheming sister Candace, and their pet platypus that happens to be a secret agent fighting an evil scientist. The plots are standard, and sometimes so are the jokes, but the characters aren't. One of the show's highpoints is the music, from Bowling For Soup's theme song "Today Is Gonna Be a Great Day" (who can argue with a power pop punk song with a killer hook that states, "This could possibly be the best day ever and tomorrow could be a million ...

| | Rocky 4 Rocky IV CD (1985) Bonus Track
Full Monty Soundtrack video
$7.59 Quite simply, Rocky IV was a movie for the ages. The story of a man who had it all, only to lose so much overnight. Revolving around tension and alienation on the personal, political, spiritual and athletic levels, Sylvester Stallone's portrayal of Rocky Balboa in Rocky IV was without question the most multi-dimensional role of his career. This isn't to shirk the original Rocky, which dealt with questions of class, ethnicity, and overcoming obstacles to victory -- but Rocky IV was more of a movie to be related to on a universal scale.
This indomitable spirit is best exemplified by the album's lead-off track "Burning Heart". The logical sequel to Survivor's epic, instantly recognizable and painfully unforgettable sports anthem "Eye of the Tiger" finds the central protagonist a bit more mature and refined; world-weary from his battles and exponentially more introspective than he was in his burning youth. This torch is then passed to John Cafferty; whom soundtrack fans will no doubt recognize from his work on Eddie & the Cruisers, Eddie & the Cruisers 2: Eddie Lives and Eddie & the Cruisers: The Unreleased Tapes. Here, Cafferty has replaced his Beaver Brown Band with the urgent, yet mildly dated synthesizer work of Vince Dicola.
Decidedly pacing the album's soundtrack as well ...

Full Monty Soundtrack film
$15.09 Like the album itself, the soundtrack to the 1978 film Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is a legend in its own right. Where the Beatles' album was a groundbreaking moment in pop music, the Robert Stigwood film was an unmitigated disaster, an embarrassment not only to the Beatles, but to everyone involved in the production. Nevertheless, as the years passed and '70s nostalgia grew, certain kitsch fanatics revealed an affection for the debacle, so it wasn't a complete surprise that the album was reissued on CD for its 20th anniversary. ...

$20.29 Alternately emotive, sultry and swinging vocals on jazz standards with great arrangements. Makes the old sound fresh and new! There was a time when vocalists infused every carefully chosen lyric with meaning, every precious syllable with emotion, and every note with golden tone.
