The album yielded one of his few chart hits with Steve Goodman's "City Of New Orleans." The sessions were produced by Lenny Waronker and John Pilla and feature such ...

Alive On Law St.
$18.95 Holly Tucker CD Press Release -- Lorena, Texas -- August 27, 2007Fourteen year old Holly Tucker, of Lorena, Texas, has just completed the recording of her first full-length country music CD, at the local studio of artist/producer, singer/ songwriter, master teacher, Dick Gimble, son of western swing fiddle great, Johnny Gimble. The CD is set for “soft” release August 28th, in Waco. Art design and music duplication , in Austin, has just been completed. Copies will be available for sale, immediately, at all events where Holly is scheduled to perform, and very shortly, through her website, http//:www.hollytucker,com. Friends and fans are also invited to visit http//:www.myspace.com/hollytuckerofficial, to hear the title cut, “It’s About Time”, and find out where to go to hear Holly perform live. The CD is a collection of 12 songs in the “young country” style of Carrie Underwood, Kelley Pickler, and, one of Holly’s favorite artists, Jamie O’Neal. It features 7 original songs by Waco country singer/songwriter, Chris Wommack, who is no stranger to the music scene. For years, he has cast his music pearls all over the world, traveling as a full-time music evangelist and worship leader, in the Contemporary Christian music field. More recently, he has used his spare time from his position as Associate Pastor, for Music Ministry, at First Baptist Church of Woodway, to compose positive country songs. His collaboration with Holly began when he asked her to “demo” a few of his songs, using his home, digital recording machine, to be able to send them off to some publishing companies. As the first primitive attempts were in progress, something magical happened where a singer and a song unite, for the perfect balance, and a partnership was born, Listeners will be surprised that the message of the title cut, “It’s About Time”, is completely different from what is expected. The opening Wommack song, “She’s Touched In The Heart”, a fun, upbeat summer love song, with a magical hook, and “Tellin’ You”, another driving musical statement on the love theme, were written with Holly in mind. “I Can’t Concentrate”, a musical rollercoaster that travels in and out of several keys, will resonate with every teenage girl, who ever had a crush on “that special guy”. The other Wommack contributions include “Feather Pillow”, a tender ballad of love in the style of Martina McBride, “That First Second Glance”, one of the songs destined to be a “hit”, and finally, a duet with Dad, Johnny, “Even Higher”, a song about reaching for your wildest dreams. For those who crave a little of the “familiar” Holly has re-made some of her favorites, such as the Kim Richey tune “Every River”, Linda Ronstadt’s “When Will ...
