The 1993 film about the King of Halloweentown discovering Christmas Town. Tired of being an object of fear for small children, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, sets out to replace Santa Claus and oversee Christmas festivities for a year. A trio of ghastly ghouls is assigned to the task of kidnapping Saint Nick; meanwhile, Jack attends to the Yuletide activities, giving them a frightful new twist in the process. Tim Burton's stop-motion animated feature finds Pumpkin King Jack Skellington thinking the grass is greener over in Santa Claus's holiday. He marshals all his goblins and ghouls to take over Christmas, but alas--poor Jack belongs to Halloween. An amazing visual and musical feast that should be seen at least twice to catch all the kinks and quirks in the nooks and crannies. Academy Award Nominations: Best Visual Effects. This collection includes the original Nightmare, Nightmare in digital, Frankenweenie, and Vincent, the last narrated by the late, great, Vincent Price. This is more fun than legally allowed in Utah.

This movie is a classic for all ages. Though I'm not particularly a fan of musicals, I find myself singing some of the lyrics in my head from time to time. Excellent purchase.

I looked for this cd in all the stores last year and could not find it. I searched online and found CD Universe which put me on a waiting list when no one else offered. Tim Burton did an incrediable job making this animated movie. The characters and story line are easy to follow and the graphics are incredible. I highly recomend this new cult movie to all.

For both comic book fans and those who can't tell the Green Lantern from the Green Arrow, IRON MAN is the type of summer blockbuster whose appeal lasts far beyond the season.
