great debut
i actually liked the first couple of strawbs albums better then i liked the early fairport convention stuff, not that fairport where not great but i think the strawbs got lost in the shuffle with amazing blondel and pentangle this was a great effort!

Overlooked Epic
On of the few late 60's albums that should have took off like a house on fire. Unfortunately, it was not released in the U.S. when it came out and was highly censered in the U.K. where it was released.

the epitome of englishness
yards of pure white chiffon falling in a gracefull curve, crystal clear cut chandeliers, orchids by the moat , mulled wine by the fire and the finest ermin stole.
