Right to Bare Arms represents politically charged, hardcore hood be-bop with a flair of dirty south grittiest. Their unyielding and unforgiving raw lyrics report the realities and revelries of street life in New Orleans, before and after Hurricane Katrina. All intertwined with a unique blend of militancy, history, party antics, and boom bap creating a web of Hip-Hop music reflecting 500 years of slavery pains. RBA is composed of five bravemen: LX, J. Bahma, Pike Malvo, Huey P.

, and Nat Turner. All with varying styles and appeal. LX is the urban catalyst, his silver tongue delivery and thought provoking lyrics is a perfect contrast to his gruff voice. J. Bahm AKA Jefasun, erratic flow patterns but precise wordplay along with his nonchalant demeanor leaves listeners pleasantly thirsting for more . The poignant content and laidback technique of Huey P. carries his audience to unprecedented heights. The mere mentioning of Nat Turner invokes the revolutionary spirit within rivaled only by the brash and bold historic poetry he makes relevant to today's society. Pike Malvo 'the dominant factor, fusion reactor,' as he once said, is human combustion on the mic. Malvo's mysterious presents mix with uptown swag and witty rhyme skills are quickly making him a fan favorite. Due to the unnatural occurrence of the destruction and displacement of black people in New Orleans, RBA has relocated, split locations, come together and separated several different times since the government planned catastrophe. But they have maintain recording putting a new mix tape entitled 'MCMVI.

5 RETRO REDUX.

' Within the dynamic group of five, several sub-groups have intertwined to create a bevy of sinister music clusters: 2nd Amendmeant based in Atlanta and MRA (Movemeant Rebeliance Association) is the Texas team. Before the storm, RBA was a fixture at exclusive hip-hop events and open mic competitions. Due their popularity, collaborations, and affiliations at least one or all members have performed in some capacity as opening acts for Nas, Fugees, Big Pun, Pharcyde, Alkoholiks, Public Enemy, Ying Yang Twins, Krs One. Having appeared on New Orleans' video show 'Phat Phat and all Dat' and Atlanta's 'What's Happening TV' has help build a visual and musical relationship with their fans. Along with their participation in the critically acclaimed Underground Streetcar and wtf: an okaymentary documentaries. Once said by well- known former New Orleans radio personality, Rob Nice 'They remind me of 95',96' hip-hop with modern day flair and swagger.

' If a subject is out there they are not afraid to speak on it from Bush negligence in Katrina aftermath to strip clubs to everyday hood trauma to building better education for kids.
