It's not often that a label can say it is releasing something that sounds like nothing ever made. With the release of Vataff Project's Kalitz, Aleph Zero is proud to say just that. Welcome to the dark mysterious forests of Bulgarian musician Victor Marinov's mind. In the age of instant hit tracks we invite you to an 80 minutes long journey out of this world. Arranged as one piece like in Vataff Project's live sets, Kalitz offers a true album experience. The project has its own distinct sound, although it contains elements of psychedelic techno, IDM, trip hop & ambient, occasionally incorporating traditional Bulgarian instruments. Vataff's music is like nothing you've ever heard and it engulfs you in thick psychedelic atmosphere with alien sounds that sucks you into another world from the first note.Vataff Project - Artist BioThe man behind Vataff Project is Bulgarian musician Victor Marinov. One of the pioneers of the electronic music scene in Bulgaria, Victor was part of two unique projects during the 90s - Dve Kupeta & Band of Mad Women. With these he released 3 albums. Victor has also been writing music for theatre and film, and recording traditional Bulgarian music for ethno-musicological projects. In 2001 he originated Vataff Project, a unique mix of electronic music with traditional Bulgarian instruments and vocals. In Bulgarian folklore the leader of the Kalushars (Rusaliys) is called Vataff. They are considered a folklore remnant of an ancient elite society of warriors, whose leaders were initiated in religious cult, and had the ability to heal and liberate through special music through rituals. Victor aims with his music to lead to profound feelings of ecstasy coming from the heart and rooted in ritual originating in the ancient times, and continued to the present and the future. The permanent development and evolution of sound, the search for states going beyond the field of matrix forms and images are basic tendencies set in the project's idea. Vataff Project has two albums already released in Bulgaria, and has been performing live internationally in many events and big festivals all across Europe as well as in Asia & North Africa. Vataff Project new album - Kalitz - is about to be released with Aleph Zero in May 2008. Vataff Project Kalitz Songs | 1. | Orpheus Forest |

$5.49 I was born on September 8th, 1985. I grew up in the country, and loved anything that had to do with outside. The only time I'd ever be inside is when I had to go to bed, or eat supper. Most of the time if it was nice out, I would take my supper outside to eat. I loved nature, and I loved writing. That's the two things I love even today. I think I was around ten when I first picked up a guitar. Nothing fancy, I just liked to strum dads guitar and pretend I knew how to play it. At that time I was trying to teach myself how to play, but it never seemed to work out. I was terrible in school, its hard for me to learn new things on my own. Around age twelve I found myself a guitar teacher, and he still teaches me to this day. Music was my thing in high school, but I was more of a loner. I didn't want anyone to know I played guitar, because they would probably ask to hear me play something, and I wasn't that good. I'm over most of that now, after playing at a few places. The first person that ever heard me play and sing is my best friend Robby Kaiser, folks around here call him "Tex." You might hear him on my second album. I'm trying to get him to sing. Him and I have been writing this one song for about two years now..never really gotten around to finishing it. It will be on the second album, and he will be singing it with me. One of my biggest influences is my uncle Corey. He's been in Nashville trying to get a record deal for sometime now. He comes home every couple years to see the family. Its a tradition when Uncle Corey comes home, to take the guitar over to Grandma's house, which is where Corey stays. Uncle Corey is a songwriter, and a singer. He's got a myspace too, search for Corey Daniel's music. He's allot better than me, and he is a really good writer. If it wasn't for Uncle Corey, I would have never came up with these crazy ideas, and this site would not exist. As of right now, and for the past three years I've been a working man. I graduated school on a Friday, and the very next Monday I went to work at a roof truss plant for $9 per hour. I thought I was going to be making the big bucks, after quitting my part time job at Jiffy Lube! Boy I was disappointed when I got my first check. Ha, I still am, but I guess most people can say that. I hate my job, but there really isn't much else to choose from around here for a non-college go'er as I call it. College ain't for me, hell school wasn't for me neither. I like the olden days when you had to work hard for your money, and didn't have to pay thousands of dollars to go to school for a job that is going to be tough to get. You might be stuck in debt for awhile if you don't get the job your expecting. My favorite country singer of all time is Waylon Jennings. That's one of the reasons I play a tele..though I could never get it to sound like his. He is the most underestimated singer/songwriter in country music. He is probably most famous for writing the theme song to "Dukes of Hazard." I loved Waylons style of singer, and I loved his little guitar licks he has in his songs. I wish I would have got to see him in concert before he passed on in 2002. Now I'm following up on his son Shooter Jennings. I'm not really crazy about his rock songs, but he has a few good songs on his records that I like. I give him more credit than allot of the new singers in country music today. That country pop just ain't doing it for me. I hate it, and I try my best not to sound too pop. Anyways, you don't need to know my whole life story, I'm just a hobbyist singer/songwriter. I'm not in it for the money..as there is no money in it, I'm just in it to have fun and play music. I hope you like my website, I designed and coded it, I hope you like my music, I wrote all the songs except three of them I had co-writers for. I put all the music to the songs, except for those three ...

Bates Great Mystery is: Milton Tso, Charles Button, Anthony Betoney, and Will ClipmanCategory: Native American Flute/ Traditional Vocals/ Contemporary Instrumentation Whoever came up with the brilliant idea to get these four gents together, should be given an award. A marvelous mixture of traditional vocals, Native flutes, pan-global percussion and contemporary sounds, this quartet captures the ear with their engaging sound.
