The Atlanta-based crooner known as Lloyd returns with his third solo effort, LESSONS IN LOVE. With contributions from producers Big Reese, Jasper Cameron, Eric Hudson, John Frazier Jr., and Polow da Don, among others, LESSONS IN LOVE features a varied production sound that blends 1980s nostalgia ("Girls Around the World," "Year of the Lover") with poppy slow jams ("Treat U Good," "I Can Change Your Life") and oversexed R&B camp ("Sex Education," "Party All Over Your Body"). Lil Wayne stops by to drop a verse on the lead single, "Girls Around the World."Rolling Stone (p.88) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "Lloyd keeps it tuneful over an Eric B. and Rakim sample and other pricey beats outfitted with electro squiggles."

This CD is the bomb, all 1 tracks is worthy, he vocal game is tight and everythibg, my favorite is track 7 "Have my baby" I hope that will be the next single released on the radio

This CD was really on poiint i loved every track on here. (especially "Party All Over Your Body" and "I'm Wit It") alot of people should give him more credit and stuff. I have to go agree he is a "slept on artist".

DEFiNiTELY a slept on artist.
From beginning to end, this album is the best I've heard in a long time. I did not skip through ONE song, because all of the are geniune. From the up-tempo song of 'Lose Your Love' to a ballad like 'Heart Attack', it covers what real R&B is. If you don't have this album, BUY it....it is WORTH THE MONEY.

I have the cd and have been listening to it none stop. I am a Lloyd fan and wish he got more play. He is truly under appreciated. My favorite song off this cd is year of the lover as well and wish that it be his next single. I am looking to see him being nominated this year for an award he truly deserves it.

My name is Dale Taylor. I always liked to sing but never really sang in public until taking up Karaoke about twelve years ago. With that experience I’ve become very at ease in front of people, even singing for a dinner crowd at a large hotel in Mexico.My taste in music usually runs to country but when I write they all come out different. Mexican, western, love songs and novelty songs. I sent out my first songs in 2004 and received two nice letters from Avalon Music in Nashville.
