Listeners looking for something easy to categorize will find GRAFFITI THE WORLD confounding, but everyone else is in for a treat. Rehab heroically attempt to mix greasy Southern rock, hip hop, reggae, and whatever else catches their fancy. Far from being chaotic, this approach results in colorful tracks such as the bluesy, acoustic rap of "Lawn Chair High," funky hard rock of "Chest Pain," or dusty dirty South ballads such as "Red Water" and "Bartender Song." GRAFFITI THE WORLD is the musical equivalent of a weekend tour of the ethnically diverse, teeming Atlanta metropolis.

Eclectic mix - Awesome music! I absolutely LOVE this CD. I'm 41 years old, discovered this CD and brought it home. Then my kids heard it... and it's a Rehab-fest at my house now!!!! Submitted by Cindy (Massachuetts) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Check out myspace rehabofficial or rehabmusic and they let u know all about the new songs and group members, i.e Steaknife, 1980 ect. Submitted by Chel (Armpit of America, NJ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Rehab08? Whats up with the 3 new songs? ( Let 'Em Know, 1980, Lawn Chair High ) They dont even sound like Rehab. 1980 is alright but who's Steaknife and why are all 3 new tracks featuring him? His voice is annoying.
Also, Wht Do U Wnt From Me should have been kept on the album just as it was on the '05 release. Hopefully the future Rehab sounds more like Rehab than Let 'Em Know, 1980 & Lawn Chair High. Submitted by Quarashi89 (CDA, Idah, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful.

Graffiti The World album
$10.45 THE BEST OF THE MOODY BLUES contains vintage photographs and a conversation with Justin Hayward.
Recorded between 1964 and 1988. Includes liner notes by John Reed.
By keeping it simple and sticking to the hits, this collection successfully relates the story of this pioneering band. The Moody Blues began as a Gerry & the Pacemakers-like, R&B-influenced band fronted by sad-voiced singer Denny Laine, who is heard here on "Go Now." Laine was replaced by Justin Hayward, keyboardist Mike Pinder brought in a Mellotron, and the band hooked up with the London Symphony Orchestra to make the first orchestral-rock album DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED, from which "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Nights in White Satin" are included on this album.
Over the next few years the band banged out several gem albums that were full of a distinctive mix of folk-tinged ballads and ambitious prog-rock. Cuts from this period take up a healthy piece of this collection. After a lengthy sabbatical, ...
| | Rehab Southern Discomfort CD (2000)
Graffiti The World CD music
$6.25 Pioneers in Southern nu-metal, Atlanta's Rehab mix the Allman Brothers' brand of swampy, oft-breezy hard rock with a rap style ranging from Public Enemy's rolling thunder to Eminem's brash silliness (with an occasional splash of Sublime-esque sunshine). It's a truly unique style unleashed on their 2000 self-released debut, SOUTHERN DISCOMFORT, highlighted by the melancholy philosophy and meandering, suave jazz of "Thinkin' Again" and the quasi-novelty country bar ballad "Sittin' At a Bar" (a hit eight years later retitled and reworked as "Bartender's Song").

| | Kid Rock Rock N Roll Jesus CD (2007)
Graffiti The World album
$14.89 Once the straight country-rock of his single "Cocky" struck a chord with the public, Kid Rock seemed more interested in filling the shoes of Southern rock pioneers Lynyrd Skynyrd than upholding his throne as hip-hop's white trash punk. His 2007 album ROCK N ROLL JESUS completes that transition. A big album that bowls straight up the middle, ROCK N ROLL JESUS is Kid's homage to the grits and gravy of classic rock, a 21st-century update of FM radio fare from the 1970s.
Gone for most part is his hip-hop posturing and in-your-face putdowns; in their place are invocations of Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Steve Miller, and the like. "All Summer Long," a bouncy, sunny tune that bears a striking resemblance to "Sweet Home Alabama," is a case in point; while "Roll On" has the smooth-rolling feel of the Eagles' early work. Rock cuts loose, to be sure, as on the head-banging "So Hott," but even these tracks are injected with a retro feel, summoning classic AC/DC more than anything from the '00's. Longtime Rock fans might miss the bad attitude, but fans of classic '70s ...
