Not Bad
I was disappointed on the video and audio quality. Taped at many different venues but with minimal cameras. Not near as good as Budokan which I can watch over and over. But it has ALL new songs not seen before on DVD, such as the amazingly beautiful version of Surrounded. Good extras.

Everything You Might Expect From DT
As my review title suggests, this dvd is pretty much everything you might expect from the band, but not much more.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of DT since 1992. While this dvd features some of their latest songs (not necessarily their best), the overall quality (both video and audio) just ain't nearly as good as Live At Budokan, let alone the beautifully produced Score. In fact, the video quality is so inconsistant on each camera, some of the live footages are just PAINFUL to watch! I think among all the cameras used for the dvd, only one is in HD, and I have a feeling at least one is actually in SD 4:3 format!
I admired Mike Portnoy for compiling such ridiculous amount of bonus materials for this dvd, and in that regard this dvd is on par with their previous two releases.
All in all, this dvd is a good buy (not necessarily a must buy) for fans, yet if you are new to the band, I would recommend either Live at Budokan or Score instead.

Not too shabby
I have been a DT fan since I was 4 years old when Images and Words came out, and my dad started listening to them. This DVD packs some great songs, and jams. It has some pretty remarkable performances by each member of the band. The musicianship in this band never fails to astound me.
But, them camera work is pretty poor. There are many parts where the band members(Myung most of)are really tearing up an amazing riff, but the camera is placed on someone who isnt doing anything spectacular. It get's really frustrating. The sound quality is also not the best. Still....a must have for Dream Theater fans.

DT is the best, but the sound is a shame
I belivied that i was the only one with this perception about the sound...
Mike Portony please review these opinions and don´t ignore your fans... The sound is very very bad. and this inaceptable for a band like DT.
the medium frecuencies are very loud. Sorry, but i expect that your next Album doesn´t has this problem.

Simple but Smokin'
Big fan, many years, blah, blah, blah - okay I saw this show in the first row of the Gibson Ampitheater in LA and they blew the roof off the house! I realize this video/DVD is not up to the same quality of "The Score" but I thank DT for putting it out. They didn't have to do this but for all the fans that can actually say they went to the shows and witnessed a band that knows how to deliver the goods - Bravo!
At this point in their career they don't have to put out fancy/glossy DVD's to catch the masses - they have 95% of their fan base already and they can live with what they've built. It's one heck of an amazing band and whoever feels they can critize - then they just don't get it! God Bless
