As Cucu's possible involvement in Malboro's incarceration comes to light, the two of them consort with their Uncle Jesus, the father figure who taught Cucu how to box; Sara, the now-shamed woman with whom Malboro was going to run away before he got arrested; and Rojas, Sara's husband and the cop who arrested Malboro. Soon thereafter, Malboro and Cucu make a promise to their mother, a promise which serves as the impetus for a cathartic, redemptive odyssey, affecting the way the brothers handle their encounters with various other associates from their pasts over the course of one day. Furea Del Cielo DVD Detailed Synopsis:
In the devastated urban landscape of Mexico City, in the course of a day, the lives of a handful of characters intertwine. Malboro just got out of jail and goes looking for his brother, Cucu, who perhaps was the reason for his imprisonment. Over the course of 24 hours, they will have time to be reunited and forgive one another, but also to commit a robbery which leads them to mix with people of other social spheres.
