While she was growing up in British Columbia and being classically trained, Cara fell in love with jazz and blues. Two years ago, after visiting Toronto and singing at a few of the city's jazz clubs, Cara decided she would pursue a career in music. She immediately packed up her life in Vancouver and moved across Canada.
