Everyone looks for that person or persons that understand what he or she is going through. Isaiah is a modern day miracle that can truly testify that God is real, God has all power and that he is in complete control.Born in West Philadelphia and raised by a single mother, Isaiah experienced life in its’ rawest form beginning at an early age. The youngest of three boys, he experienced an early desire for music and people which has enabled Isaiah to express his life experiences in a powerful and unique way. As it has been told in many of his songs, this young man of God could say “me too” to many of the people he ministers to when they tell him their personal testimony. This has helped to generate a large following of both believers and non-believers that recognize his realness.Isaiah came to know Christ for himself in 1994 after his best friend, Tim, invited him to his church, when the spirit led him to join after a moving sermon one Sunday. Not sure what he would do with his future, God intervened through the new pastor who, coincidentally had just preached his first sermon as senior pastor of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church. Pastor Allen E. Waller felt led to invite Isaiah into his office for a conversation that challenged Isaiah to do a 360-degree turn and changed his life forever. This challenge was: to engage in no more drug selling, womanizing, robbing, stealing and to work on his anger management. Isaiah had one question for Pastor Waller and that was, how would I make money. The answer was strait and simple, “Trust God!”Isaiah did just that and like a recycled piece of glass, God kept the good stuff and stripped him of all of the dirt and grime. The transition was uncomfortable even painful at times but we can all benefit from the outcome of his metamorphosis. His in depth understanding of street, coupled with his hands-on walk with God through a troubled marriage, two bouts with cancer and total knee replacements has prepared this new warrior for both earthly and spiritual battle.
