Led Zeppelin album by Led Zeppelin was released Sep 10, 2008 on the WEA (Distributor) label. Rising from the ashes of his old band the Yardbirds, session guitarist Jimmy Page formed Led Zeppelin, one of the most powerful, influential, and enduring British bands to emerge in the '60s. Despite the presence of such classic thrash-o-ramas as "Good Times Bad Times" and "Communication Breakdown," what set Led Zeppelin apart was the depth and range of their music. Their sound was bathed in the blues, from rootsy covers of Willie Dixon's "You Shook Me" and "I Can't Quit You Baby," to the crunching rhythm changes of "Dazed And Confused." Few guitarists before or since possessed Page's sense of pacing and dynamics, as exemplified by the traditional acoustic folk elements framing the arena gestures on "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," and the raga-flavored acoustic mystery of "Black Mountain Side." These elements would continue to evolve on subsequent albums, leading to some of Led Zeppelin's greatest moments. Japanese-only SHM-CD (Super High Material CD) paper sleeve pressing of this absolute classic album from the Rock legends, originally released in 1969. AMAZING!!!
Nothing short of wonderful:the sound is truly amazing and the mini replicas of the original covers are very well done but most important thing of all is that when I first heard the CDs I felt the same emotions raised in me when hit by their astonishing talents,almost thirty years ago. Maybe you could feel the CDs are a bit expensive but now that I listen to them,they are worth every single penny .

A great bands great debut
Led Zepplin's debut is a must own for any rock collection. I will admit that it is not my most listened to Zep album,but it has some of my favorites and it a great sounding album. Classic songs,no collection should be without it. Buy it if you don't already own it,you won't be dissapointed.

Best debut album of all time!
For a debut album this is awesome! Led Zep are my favourite band. You can't get better than this. Not a bad track on it. Some of there later albums had some even better tracks but as a whole album you can't beat this one. Highly recommended.

For me, this is the best
Led Zeppelin's debut album is a heavy blues powerhouse. This is my favorite album from Zep's catalouge. "Good Times Bad Times" is the best song.
