Whether playing a house concert or performing on the main-stage, Rachel brings a musical style that is intimate and accomplished. Her four albums feature songs that have been noted for their vivid storytelling, and gained her recognition on the songwriting stages at the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Newport Folk Festival, the Iowa Women's Music Festival, and the South Florida Folk Festival. Rachel is based in New York, and tours nationally, appearing regularly at venues such as Berkeley\'s Freight and Salvage and NYC\'s The Rockwood Music Hall. Her live performance is a mix of character-filled songs and stories. After recording a live album at the Freight several years ago, Rachel moved from the Bay Area to New York to work with producer Ben Wisch.
