| | Young Dibiase Million S1 Dream CD Young Dibiase Discography of CDs
Brought into the world May 28th, 1984 as Cory Smith, but "Young Dibiase" has always been an appropriate name for the unique individual. Dibiase was diagnosed with Sickle Cell at birth. Realizing he has to work twice as hard, the blood disorder has proven to be a successful motivation in his life and career. The youngest of 5 grew up in a Military based family, and although he was born in Frankfort Germany, he calls Kentucky his home. Experience with alcohol, drugs, poverty, violence, dysfunctional family issues, and personal health issues at a young age have been the fuel that fires Dibiase's passion as an artist. His first acquaintance with music was in 1998 when he began writing and producing in his own home after school. Two years later Dibiase (B.K.A. CORE) started a group with high school with friends/brothers Jamaal and Travis Thompson which led to his exposure as a Recording Artist. The group recorded countless tracks but never "officially" released an album. Dibiase eventually decided to go solo and proceed as an Independent Producer/ Writer/ Engineer. In 2005 while attending College, Dibiase met William "Ill Will" McBroom, and they later became partners of “Hooligan Music Group”/ Fam Squad Entertainment”. In 2006 Dibiase began working on his first project, the “Just Fury” mix tape (Justify My Fury). The mix tape was a promotional tool for the single “Piece of Mind” FT. Justin “JC” Crowder, who later signed to Block Entertainment/ Bad Boy South. The “Just Fury” mix tape was highly successful, selling out of stock in less than two months in the streets.Since the release of “Just Fury” the artist B.K.A. CORE, officially changed his name to “Young Dibiase” after battling three “near fatal” Sickle Cell Crises in less than a year. After the discharge of his most recent hospitalization on December 15th, 2007 Debiase began recording his 2nd official mix tape “Million $1 Dream” symbolizing his strength, motivation, and optimism. The CD is set to hit streets and local stores February 23rd, 2008 to set up Dibiase’s 3rd Mixtape “HOOLIGAN MUZIK” (Set Drop to December 09)DISCOGRAPHY:"Just Fury" Mixtape (Released March, 07)"Million $1 Dream" Mixtape (Released March, 08)"HOOLIGAN MUZIK" (Mixtape Set Drop to December 09)LINKSHttp://www.Myspace.com/kycoreproductionsHttp://www.Twitter.com/YoungDibiaseHttp://www.Facebook.com/YoungDibiasehttp://www.ilike.com/artist/CORE+AKA+YOUNG+DIBIASEhttp://www.Showcaseyourmusic.com/CORE Million S1 Dream Music | Category | Rap Albums | | Label | CD Baby | | CD Universe Part number | 7724586 | | Catalog number | 201132 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Jul 01, 2008 |

$16.39 ANGIE WHITNEY- AN INSPIRING STORY:Let’s take a trip back to the future and twist and shout into the 60’s and catapult ourselves into the early 70’s when Motown was king and girl groups like Diana Ross and The Supremes and The Ronettes ruled the charts. Angie Whitney was an aspiring singer living in Los Angeles with her twin sister, Rachel and her cousin, Yvonne. The twins had been singing together since they were 4 years old. Angie was shy but loved to get up and sing in front of people. Angie, her twin sister and her cousin started singing back-up for The Spinners who charted 5- Top 100 singles and 2- Top 10 hits. They were one of the biggest Soul groups of the 1970’s. The Spinners classic songs such as: “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love”, “Ghetto Child”, “Working My Way Back To You”, “The Rubberband Man” and more are considered Pop classics. Angie says, “We toured with them and learned so much. Cornelius Grant was our manger at the time. He was also the guitar player and musical director for The Temptations. He took us under his wing. He wanted to develop a girl group at the time. He was so controlling but I paid close attention to him because I wanted to be in show biz. We rehearsed so much but we all got antsy and it fell apart.”Angie finally had time to work on her voice. She wanted desperately to sing on her own. Angie explains, “I’m an Alto and my lower register is developed. I could never sing high with confidence until I was able to take lessons. That’s when I learned how to change keys! I use so many different tones and voices that I’m able to express my feelings with my voice. Now I can take songs to new and provocative levels.”By the early 80’s Angie finally stopped working with her twin and her cousin and was able to do her own thing. She started singing with a group called Drive All Night. In the 90’s she joined the Art Deco and His Society Orchestra. She stayed with them for 8 years. Angie ...
