Por Tu Maldito Amor album
$8.65 Luis Miguel can always be counted on to deliver romance upon demand, with his trademark persuasive vocal style and luxurious musical arrangements. But with 2004's MEXICO EN LA PIEL, he breaks with tradition (at least on the title track), to acknowledge his fealty to his home country of Mexico. However, the album is by no means a set of patriotic ballads--Miguel remains as devoted to romance as ever on "De Que Manera Te Olvido," with the aid of stirring, passionate strings, ...

$7.75 35 ANIVERSARIO LO MEJOR DE LARA won the 2003 Latin Grammy Award for Best Ranchero Album.
Agustin Lara was one of Mexico's great songwriters, and certainly one of the most widely recorded, in addition to composing songs for many Mexican films of the 1930s and '40s. While many have almost forgotten him in the last three decades, Vicente Fernández obviously hasn't. ...

$16.45 Joe Sierra is currently the #1 most listened to musical artist at www.mediakinesis.com “Come On” is but one bright facet of Joe Sierra’s music Los Angeles, CA – Music artist Joe Sierra is set to steal some glory in the music industry with his single “Come On” is a high-energy, danceable and tripworthy slab of electronic pulsing. But Sierra is quick to point out that his art encompasses a broad range of styles. His music displays surprising diversity, ranging across a variety of styles, including trance, dance, new age, space music, bell-based music, vibraphone jazz and Latin, classical, world music (with Asian, Middle Eastern, Native American and Celtic influences) and blues and rock guitar. “Come On” is a shining example of Sierra’s work in the realm of electronic dance. There’s a strong focus on textures, with Sierra creating a rich and lavish but always streamlined bed of sound across which the beats can race. The rhythms and grooves are as tightly constructed as the textures and ...

| | Sabrina Gilbert Come Get Me CD (2008)
Por Tu Maldito Amor album
$15.19 Sabrina is no stranger to performance, as the second of five children she always found herself seeking a means of self expression which lead her to the stage. Unbeknownst to her at the time she had begun what would become her life’s work. Skilled in many art forms, she found herself in everything from dance troupes to theater competitions. Ironically, it would not be until much later in life when she would begin performing her poetry. As a student of Smithfield High School she demonstrated her leadership skills and thirst for excellence as she maintained a 3.9 GPA, captained the cheerleading squad and was assistant manager of the school’s literary magazine. While she wasn’t sure where her talents would lead her she knew that she couldn’t make a living on her talent alone and applied to the Virginia Commonwealth University’s School for the Arts in 2001. During the second year of her studies in the BFA program of VCU she was encouraged by her best friend to perform her poetry at an open mic event. Nervous, and unsure Sabrina took the stage and shared her vulnerability publically for the first time. Quickly finding herself addicted to the healing that spoken word had given to her she began to perform at any and every open mic event that took place in city of Richmond. She even helped with the birth of a new open mic event that still takes place in the city today known as Lyric Ave. Always hungry for improvement Sabrina found herself traveling to DC in search of growth as a performer. It was here that she acquired a taste for lyricism which spun her into the study of language; Sabrina would spend her weekends devouring books from writers such as Pablo Neruda, Susan Lori – Parks, and Amiri Baraka to name a few. In 2005 Sabrina got to participate in the Theatre VCU Senior Showcase which toured in DC, VA, and Chicago. In the showcase she worked with director Lori Lindberg and turned two of her poems in to theatrical works, finally bridging the gap between her two crafts. This tour brought Sabrina to the realization that her work didn’t just provide self healing but had somehow facilitated the healing of others in the same or similar struggles. The passion, sincerity, and cunning lyricism of her work coupled ...
