Tarantino delivers strong in this entertaining thrill-ride that is absolutely amazing entertainment. He delivers shock suprises all way through the film and without a doubt entertains us with his dialogue. It is Tarantino again at his everlasting best.. In top form to be exact.. It features his usual smart and witty dialogue and stylised, and often gruesome and graphic violence which will most likely shock most and entertain few... Tarantino recreates history with his humour and craft and allows the Basterds, led by Brad Pitt to get their long awaited revenge. The film is nearly 3 hours long and relies on large set pieces of dialogue sequences, followed up by some shocking and violent scenes which will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what the hell will happen next. Tarantino uses his knowledge of WW2 and completely turns the volume way up while recreating history to suit his own likes and dislikes. Brad Pitt delivers some excellent performances, however, it is Christoph Waltz who delivered the greatest performance out of the entire cast, and may very well recieve an Oscar for his amazing potrayal as the Jew hunter.. Overall, Inglourious Basterds lived up to all the hype and the much anticipated film definitely delivered strong. A must for any Tarantino fan, or any fan of cinema in general. Flat out entertainment and Tarantino in top form, perhaps his second greatest film behind Pulp Fiction. An unbelivable cast, great dialogue, shocking scenes, entertaining storytelling, great lighting, composition and cinematography. It is an overall outstanding film and perhaps the film of the year.. Lets just hope it wins the Academy Award for best film, because I believe it definitely is so far...

Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh delivers this ambitious and sprawling biopic of one of the 20th Century's most influential political figures. In the second 130-minute segment, GUERILLA, Ernesto "Che" Guevara (Benicio Del Toro) has abandoned Cuba in order to start an even more daunting Latin-American revolution. He starts in Bolivia where, using a pseudonym, Che begins training his cobbled-together forces. This time around, however, Che's asthma is taking a greater toll, and the odds are stacked much higher against him. Yet even when the cause appears to be lost, Che remains defiant. Having accomplished the impossible in Cuba, he is determined to do the same thing here. But unfortunately time catches up to him, putting an end to his mission once and for all.
For the second segment of his two-part epic, Soderbergh changes his style, reflecting the tougher battle that Che confronted in Bolivia. Gone is the glorious widescreen photography; replacing it is a more claustrophobic 1:85 ratio. Also gone is the tripod, which produces a much more frenetic, unstable effect for the viewer. As Che wheezes his way through the woods, learning of the loss of more and more soldiers, Soderbergh prepares us, through his cinematography and Alberto Iglesias's foreboding score, for his inevitable fall from glory.
