Part of an ongoing series of two-fer reissues of vintage albums by the outlaw country cult hero Bobby Bare from the Australian reissue label Raven Records, BARE/SLEEPER WHEREVER I FALL combines two classic 1978 albums. BARE is a set of collaborations with quirky humorist and songwriter Shel Silverstein, composed of originals and covers. SLEEPER WHEREVER I FALL is a more traditional Bobby Bare album, featuring his version of the Byrds' "Feel A Whole Lot Better." This set adds two bonus tracks, "Easy As Dreaming" and "Rodeo Queen."

Bare/Sleeper Wherever I Fall music CDs
$13.15 "Let The River Run" is a re-release of a CD recorded in 1995 by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Mike Hutchens. It covers a lot of ground stylistically including rock, pop,R&B and smooth jazz. This CD is full of songs that appeal to a broad base but with songwriting integrity intact. With great guitar work and soulful vocals this is a unique blending of ideas that you will enjoy listening to over and over. Here are a few highlights from Mike's career so far: Mike started playing guitar in 1964 and performed all over Southwest Virginia doing every kind of gig imaginable. After moving to Nashville in 1973 he met Stan Hemphill(LITTLE RICHARD) )and they formed the"Afro Space Boogie Band" and performed at the Exit In. In 1975 Mike met ALLEN WOODY (ALLMAN BROTHERS and GOV'T MULE). Along with TONY CROW (LAMBCHOP, Silver Jews) they formed the Instrumental Jazz Fusion Band "MONTAGE." They later added drummer JOHN MOSS (BAREFOOT JERRY). Tony and Mike were the principle composers for this incredibly talented and interesting band. They performed all over and opened up for "THE DIXIE DREGS" in Chattanooga. From this point Mike played with lot's of different artists including: 50's and 60's hitmakers "THE VOGUES", slide ...

Bare/Sleeper Wherever I Fall CD music
$19.79 Two late-'80s instrumental albums by Albert Lee, 1987's Speechless and 1988's Gagged But Not Bound, are combined onto one 70-minute CD on this Australian reissue. Lee is destined to be remembered primarily for his work as a sideman rather than as a featured performer or songwriter, and these two albums, pleasant listening though they were, demonstrated this to some degree. Certainly his picking is unfailingly impeccably executed and imaginative, but it's more like tastefully arranged quality background music than something to excite or inspire. Both records mix Lee originals with ...
