A sexy thriller set in India. Beverly, an American woman puts in an insurance claim after a hunting accident in which a man falls off an elephant and is trampled to death. The Los Angeles based company sends out an investigator called Gravis to determine the authenticity of the claim. Beverly and Gravis drift off into an affair. The plot thickens when a young tribal girl reveals that the man who actually died was her father who was the mahout. After her husband dies in India, a Maharajah's wife stands to collect a vast sum from the insurance policy. But the claims adjustor sent to investigate the mysterious death soon finds himself falling in love with the widow. He then becomes involved in an intrigue as extensive as the continent of Asia. After her Maharajah husband is killed in India, his widow files a hefty insurance claim. The investigator soon becomes infatuated with her and is drawn into a mystery bigger than Asia.
