Though Presto Ballet was formed by guitarist/keyboardist Kurdt Vanderhoof, formerly of thrash band Metal Church, it is NOT a prog-metal band, as sometimes assumed, but rather a straight-up prog-rock band in the classic '70s symphonic style. While Vanderhoof's guitars occasionally adopt a thick, distorted tone, things never cross into overt metal territory. Instead, THE LOST ART OF TIME TRAVEL is full of rich organ swoops, fat analog synth tones, pure melodic vocals, and ambitiously arranged (sometimes epic) song structures.
Presto Ballet: Kurdt Vanderhoof (guitar, Mellotron, synthesizer, bass instrument); Ryan McPherson (piano, Hammond b-3 organ, Mellotron, keyboards, synthesizer, background vocals); Israel Rehaume (bass instrument); Izzy Rehaume (bass guitar); Bill Raymond (drums, drum).
Additional personnel: Caittlin Moats (flute); Shelby Moats (voice box); Brian Cokeley (background vocals).

Lost Art Of Time Travel
$14.79 This CD has an Inspirational, Uplifting, Gospel/Christian Contemporary feel that will take your soul to high heights.Genise Williams was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She started singing at the age of 5 years old on her church choir. Her mom kept her grounded in church and focus on singing. Genise use to sing for all of her moms company and became the topic of conversation around town. She started singing on a lot of school programs and was given solo parts on her choir. By the time she was 13 she started singing with her 2 cousins and they called themselves the Randle Singers. They continued to sing for a couple of years until they decided it was time to move on. At the age of 19 she began singing R&B with 2 guys and formed a group called MNG. The group lasted for 2 years because Genise went in the U.S. Army. A year and a half later her and 2 other young ladies formed a group called Bold Display while stationed in Germany. The group had the opportunity to travel to different parts of Germany and perform. They could have made it big, but the military caused the group to come to a regretful end. Genise returned to the United States and at that time she met a female with the same passion for music as her. They decided to put their singing and writing abilities together and called themselves LaNiece. The group performed all over in places like New York (Apollo Theater), California (music Conference), North Carolina, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and even Germany. LaNiece released ...
| | Digital Underground Cuz A D.U. Party Don't Stop! CD (2008)
Lost Art Of Time Travel
$9.75 New jams like the silky smooth Blue Skyy, or the techno-driven Who's Bumpin show off that trademark D-Flow diversity. Other new jams like the silky smooth Blue Skyy or Cali Boogie prove the group still has it going on all these years later. Need more? The fun cuts More Manure, Lettuce In The Club, or the hillarious Meeheadsoon make it clear your listening to a Digital Underground album. The live cuts on this record are also very special. If you've never made a d.u. show (they've done well over 1,000 of them) these cuts make you feel like you're in the room. Not just any live recordings either, these west coast shows are full of Cali energy. The crowd is into it, the band is on fire, special Bay Area guests are in the building. The only regret you have after hearing it... is that you weren't at the show the night it was recorded! This is a classic d.u. album... true and deep d.u. fans will "get it" and be in love!Credits:Executive Producer: Scott Thomas© 2008 Jake Records, LLCAll live pianos, organs, & synthesizers by the Piano Man, except #9 & #17 live keys performed by Maya Kronfeld.Arrangements & final mixes by Shockg @ Dig Recording, Portland. | | Mystic Knights of the Cobra There Is No End CD (2009)
Lost Art Of Time Travel
$12.65 From the muddy banks of the Carquinez Straits comes a secret society of rockers ready to party your pants off. With California’s East Bay Area being their beloved home, the Mystic Knights Of The Cobra seem like they have been playing music since the beginning of time , but in all actuality have been playing locally and down to Southern California since 2006. In what has been a flurry of action, they have played with the likes of Guttermouth, Ginger Coyote& The White trash Debutantes, Naked Lady Wrestlers, Maldroid, The Zoopy Show, Primadonna, The Look and Pocos Perro Locos, often bringing more attendees then the headliner they play with. Mixing punk, hard rock and old school with the occasional rap/break-beat or booty bass line, the Cobra’s are hard to put in a in any musical box. Swerving and searing around crisp guitars vivid drums, vocalists Baby and Lady Cobra don’t take no lip as they conjure up stylings reminiscent of Tilt and The Runnaway’s. Also known for a bit of a vaudeville stage-show, a magic act or full costumed extravaganza are not unexpected. When the Cobras aren’t Rocking your faces off they enjoy the following leisurely activities: “Drinking cheap champagne and malt liquor, stealing the clothing of local celebrities, hardcore porn, midget racing, peeing on paddy wagons, hanging out with Vince Vaughn, Gambling, driving fast, lying, Tranny’s, Russian roulette, secret blow jobs, not thinking ahead, and doing everything better than you.” Mystic Knights Of The Cobra In August of 2008, the Cobra’s were asked by the Green Day side-project band, Foxboro ...
