There may not be a more compelling and inspirational story. Marguerite is an accomplished lyricist, songwriter, producer and vocalist. A trained actress seasoned on the stages of The D.C. Back Alley Theaters, after performances in musicals Marguerite\'s friends and family, who all call her \"Tina\", encouraged her to pursue a career as a singer. In the late 1980\'s the talented songstress burst upon the Washington music scene with her hit single, \"Hard Core Party\", a high energy house jam that got air play with heavy rotation. Performing vocals and writing for a local group \"E.U./Experience Unlimited\" prompted even more motivation. While her superb writing skills and powerful vocal abilities are of popular demand the richness of her expressive creativity still remains somewhat un-tapped (smile). The sky seemed the limit for her blossoming career. In 1989 while recording for her debut album she began to have what she thought were migraines. After completing three songs for her album, she went to see a neurologist about her headaches. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor. For what this doctor thought was a tumor she has subsequently undergone six major open skull surgeries. While living though this tragic ordeal, Marguerite has managed to grow spiritually and emotionally, and through it all still singing, now that\'s a gift from God. As a result of her faith and will to carry on and succeed, her music and story of triumph over adversity has served to inspire a lot of people, namely, J. C. Hayward of WUSA Channel 9/CBS. In a \"Good News 9\" television interview with Marguerite Ms. Hayward referred to her as being \"a miracle\". Her soul stirring voice quickens and awakens new life in those who hear it. To hear her, be it ballad or up tempo, her soulful style makes you want to stand on your feet and groove to her smoothness while being moved with the lyrical content. Most people liken her to the late, great Phyllis Hyman also saying she has power in her voice like Chaka Khan shwew what a combo. So, are you ready for an experience to remember, are you ready for something to enhance your listening pleasures. Are you ready for Marguerite? Sure you are! That renaissance gal is at it again. As in THE BODYGUARD, Whitney Houston does double duty as star and soundtrack provider for THE PREACHER'S WIFE. Don't look for her to be sticking to the commercial pop-R&B sound that served her so well on her last soundtrack album, though. THE PREACHER'S WIFE finds Houston reaching back to her roots in gospel, and collaborating with some stellar gospel artists, including her mother, Cissy.
Several cuts here, including "Hold On, Help Is On The Way" and "I Go To The Rock," find the soulful Georgia Mass Choir ...
| | Chris Brown Graffiti CDs (2009) Deluxe Edition
My Summertime album
$14.37 Most of Graffiti is a natural progression for Chris Brown. Like many young cred-seeking male singers who have just exited their teenage years, Brown emphasizes womanizing and hedonism and balances it out with a couple clean and empty ballads, as well as a couple relatively lighthearted Europop numbers. A handful of songs deal with his relationship with Rihanna, as well as the fallout from his assault of her. ~ Andy Kellman

| | Sasha AKA Shyla E Incognito CD (2008)
My Summertime CD music
$15.19 Born December 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas, Ashley AKA Sasha was soon after adopted by a loving family in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and given the chance to blossom into the creative and gifted young woman she is today. Her exceptional talent in many areas of the arts, primarily music, has resulted in numerous opportunities for her to showcase her abilities. While she has composed and recorded more than 100 song ideas and produced over 500 original beats in recent years, her performing career actually started as a young child. She began as a member of the Flossmoor Community Church Cherub Choir, and later participated in church- and school-sponsored talent shows, school musicals, Christmas pageants, and self-organized community performances. Several of these performances were even written and directed by Sasha herself; the first hint that her talents in the musical field went beyond just performing. As a teenager growing up in Chicago and later moving to Pittsburgh, Sasha’s performances continued with greater sophistication. These included several soloist opportunities in church-sponsored events, nursing home holiday concerts, and others. She was an integral member of the nationally acclaimed North Allegheny Senior High Jazz Choir, ...
