(5 Customer Reviews)
Three years after the Pussycat Dolls unveiled their hit debut album, PCD, the former burlesque troupe returned with another round of sassy pop called DOLL DOMINATION. Although fans had been anticipating the much-hyped (and repeatedly delayed) solo outing by lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, DOMINATION fills in nicely, with the vocalist leading her statuesque sorority on a set of sensual, dance-oriented tracks. In addition to the techno-tinged single "When I Grow Up," which gives little girls everywhere the hope that they too can be a Pussycat Doll someday, the record includes the percussive "Whatcha Think About That," a mid-tempo tune that features Missy Elliott.
The Pussycat Dolls' smash-hit album DOLL DOMINATION has been repackaged to include the English-language version of the Oscar-nominated song "Jai Ho," as well a few more tracks. Fans of the sultry singing group will not want to miss the extras here.

Pussy Cat Dolls Doll Domination Songs Doll Domination Music Review Average Rating: (3.4 out of 5 stars) Second Round This may be their second album, but it is the best album out of the two. There is more variety and less ballads. It also sounds like Nicole finally let the other girls sing some parts. Submitted by jonathansozzi (Tucson, AZ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Purchase Doll Domination CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Johnny Otis 1945-1947 CD (2002)
Doll Domination album
$18.05 Growing up among Afro-Americans in Berkeley, CA, Greek-American Johnny Otis (born John Veliotes) always identified strongly with people of color. Before he had attained the age of 20 he was gigging with black jazz bands throughout the Southwest, and eventually organized an ensemble deliberately patterned after Count Basie's orchestra. This highly charged album of historical musical artifacts documents the very beginning of Johnny Otis' recording career. With one apparently unobtainable exception, the Classics Blues & Rhythm Series has assembled all of Otis' Excelsior recordings, made in Los Angeles between 1945 and 1947. This provides background and context for his ...

| | J J Jackson But It's Alright CD (1967)
Doll Domination songs
$9.95 Soul belter J.J. Jackson is best known for his 1967 smash, "But It's Alright," but he has some fine singles and a couple of excellent albums as well, and 1967's But It's Alright on the Calla label is one of them. Kicking off with the infectious title track, the record alternates between flat-out rockers like "I Dig Girls," "Come See Me (I'm Your Man)" (which was written by Jackson, covered by the Pretty Things, and then reclaimed powerfully here), and "Boogaloo ...

| | Trouble Simple Mind Condition CD (2007)
Doll Domination songs
$12.95 Trouble's much anticipated comeback following nearly a decade of inactivity, Simple Mind Condition was unfortunately commercially stillborn upon release because of their new label, Escapi Music's, inability to get it into record stores in most territories, including the U.S. -- nice going, geniuses! For those who actually managed to secure an import copy, however, Trouble's seventh album does not disappoint -- but then it doesn't always shock and awe, either. Rather, the band's reunited core lineup of vocalist Eric Wagner, guitarists Bruce Franklin and Rick Wartell, drummer Jeff Olson, plus new bassist Chuck Robinson, turns in a solid, sometimes stellar, sometimes flawed new set of songs, bearing very few surprises (like the abnormally rockin' "Pictures of Life," the piano-enhanced "The Beginning of Sorrows," and a first ever cover version: Lucifer's Friend's "Ride the Sky"), yet, more importantly, remaining commendably faithful to Trouble's signature sound. This, as loyal followers can attest, lives and dies with Franklin and Wartell's unmistakable tones of doom, ...
