Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; Blue Ray HD-DVD The chance to see a living legend in the flesh doesn't come often, but in 2005 former Beatle Paul McCartney graced the U.S. with his presence and undertook a lengthy tour of the country. Fortunately, a full camera crew captured the highlights, and THE SPACE WITHIN US presents a mixture of songs from the tour, with Beatles songs and solo McCartney tracks all included. The title THE SPACE WITHIN US is a reference to the origins of this broadcast, which was first witnessed by astronauts aboard the Mir space station, who received this performance as a live feed. Now earthbound audiences can enjoy live versions of tracks such as "Yesterday," "Get Back," "Drive My Car," and a goosebump-inducing "Hey Jude." Paul Mccartney: The Space Within Us Video Paul Mccartney: The Space Within Us Movie Review A pleasant surprise! Purchased this dvd as a collector, but to my surprise it is an excellent documentary of Paul's last tour. I'll follow the sun, From me to you and many other great songs are interspersed with interesting mini-interviews with band members, audience and eventually Paul McCartney. One of the best McCartney's dvds, it is interesting to note that one does not feel tired or bored, not too lenghty, good timing. Submitted by takahashi.bioq (BRAZIL) Was This Review Helpful? Paul McCartney is Timeless. Paul McCartney is as good as it gets,in the space within us.its brings back old memories and created new ones.his music, his style and all that he gives us is timeless. the song let me roll it was a cant set still. then Jenny Wren was as classical as only he could do.and Eleanor Rigby was so great to hear.the band was awsome, I enjoyed all the songs and you will too. too much.... First of all, Im a big paul fan, I've got all his records and videos, and I love' em. He's a genius as a songwriter and as a musician. perhaps he should take care of his videos as well, because the guy that did this one is not doing him any good. Why? I would prefer to have a "concert film", I mean a complete concert. Here we have a song always followed by an interview with someone who reminds us how great and out of this world paul is, we dont need that, we already know it!!. Besides, in the songs, the camera focus on a viewer, every 5 seconds!!! c'mon, I want to see the artist perform, not weird faces in the audience!!.
I loved the soundchecks, there we have a performance by the band, not the audience.
On the good side, we have some great performances, nice to hear tunes that I never thought he would perform live again (early beatles tunes). The interviews are useless, irritates me that I have to see people in the audience every 5 seconds, and every song is interrupted by an interview. I expected that paul would correct some similar mistakes made on his recent dvd's, but this is a dissapointment by the high standarts that paul should and can give us.
Sorry. Submitted by pologallagher (america) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

$15.69 After establishing itself as a hard-rock giant, thanks to endless touring and the release of such milestone records as MACHINE HEAD and IN ROCK, Deep Purple was in a state of turmoil when it went into the studio to record 1972's WHO DO WE THINK WE ARE? Despite all the infighting, the band pulled together long enough to record seven tracks that only bolstered the band's reputation.

| | Gram Parsons Complete Reprise Sessions CDs (2006) Remastered; Boxed Set
Paul Mccartney: The Space Within Us video
$24.29 Taking the place of the obligatory cd two-fer of GP and GREVIOUS ANGEL, Gram Parsons's THE COMPLETE REPRISE SESSIONS covers it all and then some for Grampires of all stripes. Produced by Emmylou Harris and Parsons cohort James Austin, this beautifully designed three-disc set includes one disc devoted to each solo record and a third featuring outtakes from each album's sessions. With fewer overdubs and Gram and Emmylou's vocals front-and-center in the mix, the final disc brims with the emotive soul and earthbound angelic vocals the two perfected. Among the final discs many highlights are looser alternate takes of "She" and "Streets of Baltimore" from GP and a "Hickory Wind" unadorned by the ridiculous fake crowd noise that mars the GRIEVOUS ANGEL version. The latter is the best and most stirring recorded performance of Parsons's signature song and alone worth the box's sticker price. Other features scattered on the first two discs include radio interviews ...
