It's Christmas Eve, and Howard Langston has just realized that he's forgotten to buy his son "Turbo Man," the hottest, coolest, action figure on the market. The problem is, the coveted toy has been sold out of stores for weeks! Howard's search for a Turbo Man sends him on a VERY frenzied odyssey throughout the city, filled with enough misadventures to drive even the most grounded parent insane. Furthermore, Howard's main competitor for the plaything is Myron, an obnoxious postal worker who gleefully antagonizes Howard every step of the way.
Can Howard defy the odds and find a Turbo Man in time?
Arnold Schwartzenegger stars as Howard Langston, an overworked mattress salesman who has been neglecting his family of late; in an attempt to redeem himself, he promises his son whatever he wants for Christmas. Turns out that his heart's desire is a TurboMan doll, coveted by every other kid this year as well, and Howard quickly forgets about his promise until Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, all the stores are already sold out, and Howard embarks upon a wild goose chase throughout the streets of Minneapolis, encountering some wacky characters along the way. These include a postal worker of questionable sanity (Sinbad), a ticket-happy police officer (Robert Conrad), and a con-artist Santa Claus (James Belushi). As Howard's hunt drags on, his bachelor neighbor (Phil Hartman) starts to move in on his wife (Rita Wilson). Released theatrically in the USA November 22, 1996.
A 1492 Picture production.
Color by DeLuxe.
Additional cast: Jake Lloyd (Jamie Langston).
Additional credits: Jennifer Blum and James Mulay (co-producers).

Fun Holiday Movie Any parent who has ever had to search for "THE TOY" during the holiday season can relate to this movie (I myself remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle season.) The two main dads in the story (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sinbad) are a little over the top, but the movie's heart is in the right place. I love the fight scene with the phony Santa and his elves! Definitely worth watching. Submitted by a reviewer (Bronx, NY) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

Arnold at his best - Comedy and action Underrated Arnold movie. Funny and action without the graphic violence. Arnold and Sinbad make a good team. Also a good cast of supporting characters. Jingle All The Way DVD Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this hilarious comedy as a father desperate to buy that must-have present during a frantic Christmas Eve shopping spree. Howard Langston (Schwarzenegger) has promised his young son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas, unaware it's the season's hottest-selling toy. And so begins a frenzied quest that pits Howard against a stressed-out mailman (Sinbad), a sleazy Santa impersonator (James Belushi) and every other harried parent in town, in "the best holiday family film in years." Jingle All The Way DVD
$9.85 IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS is John Carpenter's foray into the world of H.P. Lovecraft and surreal horror. An insurance investigator (Sam Neill) is sent to find a missing author, Sutter Cane (Jurgen Prochnow). As he comes closer to finding the author, things start to change around him, and soon nothing is what it seems. Madness seems to be the normal state of things, while reason and sanity have no place in this new world created by the mind of Sutter Cane. Carpenter plays with changing perspective, making the audience aware thay they too are part of the story, and maybe, just maybe, this is not just make believe. The story is very ambitious in its attempt to put ...

Jingle All The Way film
$22.69 Veteran slashers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees join forces in this combination sequel to the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and FRIDAY THE 13TH series. The film begins with a quick recap of both Freddy and Jason's "lives," underscoring their respective motivations to kill and their distinct weaknesses. Freddy (Robert Englund) explains that the present children of Elm St. (including Monica Keena, Jason Ritter, Katherine Isabelle, and Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child) have no memory of him, and if they don't know he exists, he can't enter their dreams to kill them. Ingeniously, he reaches out to Jason (Ken Kirzinger), the brutish death machine from Camp Crystal Lake, to go on an Elm Street killing spree, hoping a lot of gory murder will jog the town's memory.
Jason is up to the task, quickly dispensing with teenager after teenager in suburban homes, cornfields, medical labs and, of course, the forest. Freddy grows jealous over ...
