 Another Great Album From Calle 13.
It is almost hard to believe how quickly Calle 13 release albums, but thankfully this has not at all hurt the quality of their music. Calle 13's third album "Los De Atras Vienen Conmigo" proves just that. Once again this duo showcase what urban and latin music truly has to offer. Standout tracks like Gringo Latin Funk, La Perla, and the title track off the album display great music and lyrics with actual meaning behind them. I don't want to go into much detail about what since its best to experience it for oneself, but I will say that one of these songs has sadly already got them banned from Univision Networks(an example of artistic expression not being respected). Although some might say this album is not as good as their last, "Residente O Visitante," this is a different work of music and should be treated as such. Check out La Perla, a 7 minute masterpiece with salsa legend Ruben Blades to see what I mean. This song alone proves how Calle 13 have grown as artist and just keep getting better as musicians. If you love latin music or just music in general you need to check this album out. 4.5 stars out of 5
