Based on Stephenie Meyer's #1 New York Times Bestseller of the same name, TWILIGHT explores the complex intertwining of teenage romance and the dark world of vampires. Chop Shop Records compiled this soundtrack with songs that accentuate the film's already ethereal atmosphere. Featuring two brand-new songs by Paramore (including the single "Decode") and one new track by Perry Farrell, TWILIGHT is just as much an adventure as the film. Also included are songs by Muse, Linkin Park, and a contribution by one of the film's stars, Rob Pattinson, who portrays the character Edward Cullen. Twilight Soundtrack Songs Twilight Soundtrack Music Review Average Rating: (4.6 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews GREAT!!!!!! I purchased the soundtrack before the movie was released and was unsure of what to expect. I guess I should have known better, due to the fact that I happen to enjoy listening to most of the artists on the album! I thought that the songs and artists that were chosen were perfect for the soundtrack and complemented the movie very well! This being a soundtrack, one cannot mention the soundtrack without mentioning the movie, seeing as the two are meant to go together. Though this is not a review for the movie, I can't help but express just how much I thought that the right songs were picked for the right scenes. That fact just added to the whole listening experience. There is one note that I have to make, though it has a great cadence and I did enjoy it, the song by Iron & Wine at first seemed quite odd to me, but after reading between the lines a little I thought it made a nice addition to the soundtrack. Well Put Together Soundtrack All right so the one problem I have with this soundtrack is that it does not have the Radiohead song 15 Step. It did play at the very end of the movie. But other than that this soundtrack has amazing artists. Muse, Mutemath, Iron and Wine, and Linkin Park. This has to be one of the best soundtracks for a movie that I have heard lately.
The songs fit in the movie so well. I was curious to see how Muse fit it. And I must say I was very impressed. Along with the Iron and Wine song. I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. Go check it out. (^.^) Submitted by Laura (Vancouver, BC, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$14.59 Continuing on with its story despite the death of namesake killer Jigsaw in the third installment, SAW V concerns itself with detailing who will carry on with his bloody work. Director David Hackl, the production designer on the previous three films, retains their familiar charnel house look. Though there are fewer grisly death sequences, faithful viewers will enjoy the creative plot twists. The film opens with a man strapped to a table above a pendulum. As the sharp blade begins swinging over his stomach, he has only ...
| | Rodgers & Hammerstein Rodgers & Hammerstein's Allegro: First Complete Recording CDs (2009)
Twilight Soundtrack songs
$16.05 Between 1943 and 1951, Rodgers & Hammerstein wrote five Broadway musicals, four of which -- Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, and The King and I -- became huge hits with long runs, million-selling cast albums, movie adaptations (with million-selling soundtrack albums), and frequent revivals. The fifth show, which curiously came right in the middle, was Allegro (1947), a flop that was nearly forgotten, preserved only on a 33-minute cast album. The Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization, which administers the songwriters' properties, has an obvious interest in promoting their works, and it is behind ...

Twilight Soundtrack album
$22.69 A more organic and subdued outing than its predecessor, ARMCHAIR APOCRYPHA, 2009's NOBLE BEAST finds singer/violinist/guitarist Andrew Bird further refining his elegant, erudite brand of indie-pop. From the breezy, lilting opener "Oh No" to the wistful, strings-only "On Ho," the Chicagoan performer wanders purposefully through his own strange musical landscape, stopping off for fascinating moments such as the chiming "Fitz & Dizzyspells" and the percussive "Not a Robot, But a Ghost." Although Bird's lit-major lyrics and dynamic, classically-minded ...

$14.99 Unlike the soundtrack for the first TWILIGHT film, the release that accompanies the sequel NEW MOON features entirely new, exclusive music. Highlights include the first single, Death Cab For Cutie's "Meet Me On The Equinox," the melancholy feel and lyrical hook of which ("everything ends"), pertains directly to NEW MOON's plot line concerning the end of the main characters' relationship, and Muse's epic "I Belong To You," which incorporates dramatic, gothic-sounding ...
