| | Live At The Bayside Social Club CD Bayside Discography of CDs
Showing an admirable lack of concern about flooding the market, Bayside have put out both their new studio album, SHUDDER, and this crisply played and recorded LIVE AT THE BAYSIDE SOCIAL CLUB on the same day. The show, played at New York's SIR Studios before lucky members of the "Bayside Social Club" (the band's official fan club), is composed of 13 tracks from all over Bayside's discography. "They're Not Horses They're Unicorns," from THE WALKING WOUNDED is heralded by grandiose strings, and older favorites like BAYSIDE'S "Don't Call Me Peanut" and "Hello Shitty" are given committed, crowd-pleasing performances.

Live At The Bayside Social Club album
$12.85 After the initial shock fades, the existence of CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART seems perhaps inevitable. After all, the thing Bob Dylan loves most of all are songs that are handed down from generation to generation, songs that are part of the American fabric, songs so common they never seem to have been written. These are the songs Dylan chooses to sing on CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART, a cheerfully old-fashioned holiday album from its Norman Rockwell-esque cover to its joyous backing vocals. Apart from the breakneck "Must Be Santa," which barrelhouses like a barroom, Dylan doesn't really reinterpret these songs as much as simply play them with his crackerjack road band, dropping in a little flair -- restoring ...

Based in soul but schooled in jazz, this group is exactly where they want to be. Formed in 2004 through the musical kinship of Greg Mayo (keyboards, lead vocals) and Matt Abatelli (tenor sax), The Greg Mayo Band is now beginning to really pound the pavement. All accomplished musicians, members of the band have studied music at either The Hartt School of Music, or at SUNY Purchase, or both. The entire horn section - Kenny Warren (trumpet), John Liotta (alto/bari sax), and Matt Abatelli have played alongside such jazz greats as Jackie McLean and John Faddis. Led by Greg Mayo, the rhythm section includes Chris Anderson (bass), Kenny Shaw(drums), and Erik White (guitar and backing vocals).Within the past two years, the band has played shows far and wide, dashing across the Northeast, stretching as far south as Baltimore.
