Inspired by the sounds of iconic rock bands from Rush to UFO, MPG takes the spirit of this great music and charts it's own course into the next decade. Floating Holiday album
$12.29 BY A THREAD is Gov't Mule's first studio album since HIGH & MIGHTY was issued in 2006. Since that time, bassist Andy Hess has been replaced by Jorgen Carlsson, though Hess appears on two tracks at the end of the album. Carlsson's playing style is much more aggressive than Hess', and is therefore closer - in spirit anyway - to Gov't Mule's original bassist, the late Allen Woody, though he possesses an adventurous sense of time and ...

Floating Holiday songs
$9.85 Today’s over saturated Hip Hop markets have left its fans completely exhausted and run down. Consumers are bombarded with amateur after amateur trying to convince them to contribute their hard earned cash towards artists that seem more suited to work as a car salesman then hold a crowd’s attention. The Wrist, however, would rather gain your consideration with his polished MCing and beat-crafting than his sales pitch. If you’ve ever been to an underground hip hop show in New Brunswick, NJ, odds are you have had no choice but to take notice of this battle-tested and uncompromising force of an MC. Even when not on the flyer, The Wrist has turned heads and stolen shows with impromptu performances or even street ciphers for the smokers outside. With solid showings in numerous MC battles from Rocksteady to Scribble Jam, The Wrist has been able to secure himself an always growing following. He has also opened for or shared stages with countless world renowned artists such as Immortal Technique, Blueprint, Jeru Da Damaja, Group Home, Planet Asia, Dead Prez, Killarmy, J Live, and infinite amounts of others. When potential fans catch wind of Wrist’s energetic and unpredictable live performances, its obvious that he has spent years perfecting his craft. Born Seth Serrano in Orange County, NY, The Wrist first heard hip hop being played in the back of the bus by the high school kids while he was on the way to kindergarten. The rhyme patterns and drum heavy instrumentals left him intrigued. After his parents divorced at age 10, his mother moved him and his brother to the Catskills region of Sullivan County, NY. His new rural surroundings were not known for breeding hip hop fans in general, let alone MC’s. While most MC’s grew up rhyming in the lunchroom against classmates, Seth seemed ...
| | Lesson Zero Lesson Welcome CD (2008)
Floating Holiday album
$9.75 Brilliant! Someone is finally making new music in the tried and true format of classic rock and roll. Good melodies, songs that tell stories, harmonies (something lacking in much new music), great guitar, humor in a league with Bare Naked Ladies and The Kinks – it’s all here in Lesson Welcome, a welcome addition to your music collection.New indie rock in the tried and true format of classic rock and roll, with good melodies that grow on you like your favorite jeans, vocal harmonies, songs that tell stories, great guitar, and a bit of humor in those lyrics. Your music collection will thank you for adding this.History of lesson zero part 5: We almost become superstarsBobby came all the way from Santa Cruz, Ca. to play with us. Bobby and Kerry had played together in Death Walk many years back. Awhile after Bobby arrived, Andreas left to spend more time with his family. He was replaced by vid mars who came from Seattle via the asteroid beltway. He had done some recording work previously with Kerry. Vid wrote, sang, and played a mean guitar, but alas, his Mother Ship called him back into the cosmos. He dematerialized before we could reach the recording studio, but not before this rare photo that’s posted was taken. While awaiting another guitarist to fall from the sky, Bobby, guitar George, and Kerry began working on the cd in earnest and sometimes in Springfield. “Scrapin’ Knuckles,” “Coming Back,” “Welcome To The Game,” “I Just Want To Rock With You,” and “No Time Left In Your Head” were all recorded with guitar George doubling up on keyboards and 2 guitars, while Kerry and guitar George covered the vocals with Bobby singing backup in “I Just Want To Rock With You.” We got an old friend, Ken, who Kerry played with in Pyramid Stars to sit in on soprano sax for “Runaround,” our cover of the Blues Traveler song.Next, our final installment of the history of lesson zero which brings you up to the present. But still to follow, the science, English, math, PE, and electives of the band.LESSON ZERO is Angelo Tornese, guitar and vocal; Bobby Farlee, drums and vocal; guitar George Anspach, guitar and vocal; and Kerry Miller, bass and vocal.Guitar George: keyboards on “Scrapin’ Knuckles,” “Losing Ground,” ”I Just Want To Rock With You,” and percussion on “Effing St.”Kerry: percussion on all songs and acoustic guitar on “Effing St.”Angelo: guitar on “Baby Bought A Ticket” and “Find It And Take It” and backing vocal on “Losing Ground.”Bobby: tympanis on “Coming ...
