Miracles & Melodies album
$26.55 This is a DOUBLE ALBUM. This "physical" CD contains 33 songs and a 12 minute computer video! There wasn't a way to post all of the songs on the CDBaby website--so you must go to my website www.kayte.com to find the FULL listing of all of the tracks. The songs are a COMPILATION of songs from 4 CD's: Wolf Dreams, Four Roses, Big Blue Sky, and Larger Than Love. There are also two additional unreleased tracks that were supposed to be on Wolf Dreams and Four Roses, but were scrapped due to the producer's opinion.BIOGRAPHY âI Want My K-A-Y-T-Eâ Meet the real underdog from the MTV generation. Simon Cowell would not like her. Ryan Seacrest might be be amused for a few minutes. But the immense crowd of aging âBaby-Boomersâ in America see in Kayte Strong the same charisma and power to captivate their hearts as their own heroes Carole King , Carly Simon, and Karen Carpenter. Kayte is to this powerful generation and genre as Harry Connick Jr. is to the Frank Sinatra culture--the Real Deal. Her well-heeled, sophisticated audience finds Kayte performing at the most important outdoor fine art festivals in the country, singing eight to twelve hour sets every weekend, and singing longer than anyone has ever continuously sung in the Guinness World Book of Records. And to the disbelief of the audience, she autographs each and every CD sold while performing--without stopping. Beginning in 1995, after leaving her touring position with ITC Records and Pacific Concert Group, Kayte traveled for ten hundreds of thousands of miles by land and air for twelve years-- winning the heart of America one city at a time. In 1999, her talent and professionalism landed her a position entertaining for Howard Alan Events, the premier Art and Craft festival company in the country, where she was one of five hand-picked artists performing for hundreds of thousands of people every month, year-round for eight years. She reached out with her soul every weekend to the masses of people who were looking for uplifting, fresh, and beautiful music. The masses rewarded her by purchasing upwards of four hundred of her recordings every weekend. Her 2003 Christmas CD âSerene Noelâ reached #96 on the independent airplay charts as a result of her incessant touring. Her audience and increasing sales of CDâs have pushed her to the critical place where she is organizing a nationwide concert tour in the winter of 2008. She is in the planning stages of a performance with the Bismarck Orchestra, and has already booked the main stage at the Naples National Art Festival in February next year. Upcoming ...
| | Gene Burnett My Song Now CD (2008)
Miracles & Melodies CD music
$12.15 I first started writing songs and performing them publicly when I was a senior in high school back in 1975. Since then, at one time or another, it\'s been a career ambition, a serious hobby, a form of therapy, just plain fun, or some combination of these things. Now it\'s something I do mainly for pleasure and self-expression. This album, like all of my albums, is more like a song collection than a formal \"album\" with a unifying theme. It\'s just me and my guitar (1977 Martin D-35S or 2002 000-15S ), simple but quality recordings. And, as I am quite prolific these days, I try to get as many songs as will fit onto each CD. I live and perform in Ashland, OR and don\'t travel too much or very often. I\'m trying to get my music as far out into the world as I can and see what comes back. Buying a musician\'s CD is one of the very least expensive ways of encouraging an artist in continuing to do something they love. Thank you for considering buying mine!~ Gene Burnett Ashland, OR\"Gene\'s voice startled my heart. It felt so intimate. I felt naked listening to it. It seemed to dissolve my defenses and made me feel things I preferred not to feel in public.Getting to know Gene personally was a similar ...

Miracles & Melodies album
$13.15 BioA vintage echo in the Pacific Northwest air, Paper Brainâs dreamy soundscape, sunny boy-girl swapped melodies and harmonic interludes play to the present while hinting at the past. âI've always loved the sound and tone of the 60's and, consequently, have always cherished the instruments from that era,â says Mike Wroblewski (guitars/vocals/bass). âIf it were up to me, weâd be playing with all vintage equipment; Moog synths, Wurlitzer electric pianos, any guitars or amps made in the 60âs / 70âs just because I love the soundâŠnothing really compares.âDrawn to the vintage equipment of Klickitat Band Camp, Wroblewski, Adam Zavala (drums/percussion), Jeni Wroblewski (vocals/piano/keys/bass) and Duncan Galvin (bass/guitar/vocals) chose to record their sophomore album, Ainât Nobody Cares, at Shay Scottâs KBC Studios. Sharing a love of Beatles recording methods with Scott, they sought to reproduce several of the techniques themselves, including the famous âflangeâ technique which creates the effect of doubling vocals without singing multiple times. Wroblewski notes, âJohn Lennon loved to layer his vocals and frequently asked for the âflangeâ after he had a good take down. We use the phase effect on a couple of songs, most notably on âDead Leaves.â"While âflangeâ can easily be noticed among nimble production, a few unrelated musical ...
