| | Chris Young Man I Want To Be CD (2009)
Music For The World CD music
$9.09 Since Chris Young appeared on the "Nashville Star" television program in 2006, he's been on a roll. After signing with RCA he had a hit with "Drinkin' Me Lonely," his first single from his self-titled debut recording. Likewise, the two singles that have preceded the release of THE MAN I WANT TO BE in 2009 haven't done too badly either, getting plenty of play on radio. While Chris Young's sound is firmly in the contemporary country camp, it's also a lot more hardcore honkytonk than it is the refried '70s rock clichés that plague the genre. Part of that is due to his big booming baritone voice that rings as clear as a bell in this mix. (Think George Strait-meets-Josh Turner.) The other part of his appeal ...

Music For The World music CDs
$14.85 Critically acclaimed Irish singer, songwriter, and musician Dave Conway releases his first solo album. Co-produced and recorded with legendary Dublin muso Andrew Bass, and backed by a host of Irelands finest rock musicians, Highs and Hellos is an accomplished debut, featuring 12 tracks of high-calibre rock graffiti.Dave's knack for writing eminently listenable, yet quirky songs is at its finest all the way throughout, whether it's the sing-along kookiness of All the Time, the mantra-led Always, the simple but beautiful Deceived by Ecstasy, or the 80's style rock-out Leaving. Whilst the genres vary and no two songs sound similar, the quality is consistently high, and the album manages to achieve the almost elusive quality of being accessible to a wide range of musical tastes. Aficionados of rock music from the 60's onwards will find much to satisfy their ...

| | Enemigos Agony & Ecstacy CD (2009)
Music For The World album
$12.69 The idea came about in 2001, Gangsta Reese had just released his nationwide release "FULL METAL JACKET" on D.U.G.O.U.T. Records. The plan was to do a follow up, a "Super Group" album consisting of Gangsta Reese and Young 211 from San Jose, Ca. with G-Man from Watts, Ca. It was in the making, but things took a turn for the negative with G-Man going back to prison, violater with a new beef. With the unplanned parting of G-man, Young 211 and Gangsta Reese decided to pursue other ventures, but still kept in close contact. Enter CONVIC in 2006......Convic convinced Reese to come out of a self-imposed "retirement" and get to work on the Enemigos album. At this time the last album Gangsta Reese released was East Side Stories Vol. 1 which was a compilation of different appearences by Reese Loc on various albums, with 5 new songs added to make the project bang harder. All that was missing now was a producer. Word went out on a popular rap website that Gangsta Reese was looking for production from an up and coming producer who would like to be a part of the Enemigos project. Sacramento raised and Oakland based producer Filthy Rich answered the call, and the 3 began to work dilligently on the Enemigos project. What happened next was magic. Two of the hardest spitters from East San Jose with Filthy on the beats was turning out to be a winning combination. careful not to put no bullsh*t out, they took thier time to put out a quality album, not no rush job that cheats the fans out of a solid release. The masterpiece "Agony & Ecstacy" began to form right before thier eyes. They enlisted heavy hitters Silence, Shea Sav, Tha Critic (Young 211), and others to bless certain tracks with thier own unique styles so that the listener would have a well rounded album. They even took it old school by having Filthy produce the WHOLE album, so this way the artist worked directly and very close with the producer so that the sound would be like no other. 21 tracks of pure fire. It has been dubbed as the most anticipated release to come out in a long while, and when it did finally hit the streets, it did not disappoint. It was ...

$18.55 The Travellers were formed in 1998. Their distinctive sound consists of a special style of dance music, in which the foundation is based on the American roots music with their own sensibility. It creates a feeling of nostalgia, and its output is definitely an attractive new sound. The band's first recording, "TRAVELLERS", was released in 1998. In 1999, they released the album, "GOD SPEED", followed by their first West Coast tour in ...
