Proud American movie This series of vignettes uses true stories to highlight the pride and determination of Americans. Unabashedly patriotic without pandering to any political party, this film illustrates how determination and stick-to-itiveness can overcome all types of adversity, including religious bias, racism, poverty, and physical disability. It also pays tribute to the first responders of 9/11, and to veterans and current members of the armed forces. Scenic shots fill the space between the stories, with images ranging from the waves of Hawaii, to the wheat fields of the Heartland, to the majestic Grand Canyon, to the swamps of the south. Military memorials, small towns, and big cities are also highlighted.
