With Adam Lambert, American Idol finally got a finalist who was completely, utterly contemporary, aware of what's hip in music and culture and aware of how music is made and consumed in 2009, never seeming to try to follow fads or set trends, just embodying the time. Lee Moran doesn\'t have to drive far but he has the big responsibility of transporting his majic guitar and massive talent safely and soundly to Dan\'s studio. In Loveland, an hour away, Edwin Larson stuffs some chosen words in his cell phone, kisses Linda good night because later he will be bumping through the bedroom trying not to wake her and drives the country roads to attend a funeral for boredom and the dull with Dan and Lee.
