Jadiel's debut album LO MEJOR DE MI comes after a series of collaborations with popular Reggaetonero Tito "El Bambino" and hip-hop crooner Akon. Tracks like "Tranquila" include hip-hop and Reggaeton beats, following suit within the tradition of the genre, while songs like "Me Muero" include elements of bachata music, which pay homage to more traditional Latin sounds. It is Jadiel's continuous declarations of love and admiration for the fairer sex, however, that have made him a genuine favorite and made LO MEJOR DE MI a bona fide hit. The music on offer is fascinating because it follows a variety of musical paths thats keeps the listener interested right the way through.Upon first listen I was ready to dismiss the band as the music seemed hard to get into, but for their sake I persevered with the album and by the third spin I got what the band are about and now I'm hooked into this tasty little shit kicker which as I said is very fascinating and diverse and hard to pigeon hole, thus the band have a touch of originality and sometimes in life the best things are worth taking time over, in other words this album need numerous spins to fully appreciate, and is indeed an album that stays with you and grows with each listen.If I was to compare them to anybody then I would say Saigon Kick, Lillian Axe, Masi, Kings X and even Mordred.
