Warblast album
$15.65 The release of 2009's ENDGAME brings with it a startling realization: if first-generation thrash metal fans had been polled about which of the genre's "Big Four" -- Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth -- would prove to be the most resilient and consistently prolific over the next quarter century, the only sure-fire consensus would probably have been ...

| | Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow CD (1975) Remastered
Warblast album
$6.49 After British maestro guitarist Ritchie Blackmore left Deep Purple in 1974, he recruited Purple Records signees Elf as his backing band. And although Rainbow's 1975 debut was only a hint of future greatness, the album more than holds its own.
Elf was led by dramatic metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio, who seemed to connect with Blackmore in quite a chemical ...
| | Tesla Mechanical Resonance CD (1986)
Warblast CD music
$7.65 Tesla was a bit of an anomaly on the '80s scene. While making concessions to the Sunset Strip mentality of the era (song titles littered with slang, tracks laced with thinly veiled euphemisms), the music itself holds a great deal more in common with rough-and-tumble hard rock than with watered-down glam. The record's greatest assets are vocalist Jeff Keith, who combines ...

| | Verbal Kent Salutrecords Com Jus' Blowing Smoke CD (2006)
Warblast songs
$6.69 [EDITTED version available by request] With the anticipation of 'Jus' Blowing Smoke' reaching epidemic proportions, those who don't know who Verbal (aka Verbal KENT aka K-MOB) is might succumb to the superlatives pouring forth from the D.C., MD, VA (DMV) area where the single 'Booty World' is popular. But cut through the hype and it appears to be that the SALUTrecords camp didn't hold back in its desire to make this project the hottest thing in D.C. since Nike Boots. Verbal KENT-known mainly for his, critically acclaimed, work 'D.C. State of Mind' ('03)-plundered deep into the sample archives for musical cues, fleshing out a new identity. 'I kind of wanted to re-create myself with different samples and a variety of 'mature/grown' flows that, by far, makes this the best work I've put out. Henceforth, from Verbal KENT to Verbal to K-MOB. Like BASF, we don't just make things, we make things better.' 'Verbal' mashes the Southern pedal on songs like 'Booty World' which he stitches together an 808 bass-laced track with strings and the signature southern clap, with surgical precision. Each track is perfectly placed in order from the 1st single 'Coming to Get Ya A#%' where he boldly expresses his stance to competition to the last track 'We Ain't Goin' Nowhere', where he professes his prophetic longevity in D.C. area music. "I can't sit around and wait to get signed. ...
