Little Mermaid II, The: Return To The Sea Movie Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) RETURN TO PREDICTABILITY Can this made for video sequel to The Little Mermaid really be of 5 star quality? No. While it may be cute to see Ariel's daughter look just like Eric, this film is only for very young kids to keep them occupied while Mother is busy. Instead of longing to be part of the human world, the daughter Melody longs for, (gee, are you on the edge of your seat?) the sea! And is there a villain that is a carbon copy of Ursula out for revenge that grants Melody's wish? You bet! Oh, and do Ariel's old pals become involved? Now how did you guess? This is definitely not for the adult enthusiast. To give this a high a rating as "Little Mermaid" is to question what people are thinking these days. This so-called sequel to a great animation classic that did not need a sequel in the first place should have stayed in Disney's vault. Or better yet, not made at all. Only thing worse than this? "Ariel's Beginning". Submitted by jenhedwig (New York, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Mermaid #2 Unlike most sequels this one is just as good as the first. It held the attention of a three year old and a four year old, which is very hard to do at times. Hopefully children will get the message that Mom's usually do have your best interest at heart when they tell you "no". Recommend it highly! Little Mermaid II, The: Return To The Sea film
$23.45 Co-helmed by WALL-E director Andrew Stanton, FINDING NEMO follows Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), an overprotective clown fish father, as he desperately searches the farthest reaches of the sea for his missing son Nemo. Marlin's journey leads him beyond the Great Barrier Reef into deeper and darker waters, where he meets Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), a forgetful yet optimistic blue tang, and a number of not-so-friendly--and often very hungry--aquatic creatures. Meanwhile, little Nemo finds himself in a dentist's fish tank in Syndey, Australia, along with other underwater captives, including Gill (Willem Dafoe), the group's scarred Moorish idol leader. As Nemo works with his new friends on a plan to escape their tank, Marlin and Dory swim closer, but they'll need more than just fins to get into the dentist's office.

Little Mermaid II, The: Return To The Sea DVD
$10.49 Based on actual diary accounts of several teenagers following the L.A. riots, FREEDOM WRITERS is the story of an idealistic teacher's attempts to make a difference in the lives of her at-risk students. Located in gang-ravaged Long Beach, California, Woodrow Wilson High is a hotbed of violence due to a voluntary integration program which brings Black, Latino, Asian, and White students together. Rather than having the desired effect of creating healthy diversity, this program breeds constant war between all parties involved, the result being daily gun shots, constant racial slurs, and gang violence.
Played largely by young unknowns, the freshman class in question is both naïve and wise beyond its years. While never having heard of the Holocaust, these kids ...

Little Mermaid II, The: Return To The Sea movie DVD
$10.09 America's most incendiary filmmaker, Michael Moore, returned in 2007 with this health-care-industry exposé. SICKO tackles material as controversial as the topics explored in Moore's other films, yet does so in a way that places the focus on ordinary Americans affected by the nation's health-care crisis. After providing some historical background on how our nation's medical care system became so ravaged and unfair, Moore interviews a series of individuals and families who have had their lives all but destroyed by the denial of care in the service of profit. While there are two sides to the gun-control debate and even a legitimate discourse for how to best wage the war on terror, it's simply impossible to justify how a ...

Little Mermaid II, The: Return To The Sea video
$23.45 Even for Pixar, this might be a first: an animated film that contains not only a fully realized world as photorealistic as it is teeming with wonder, but also the Gargantuan themes and visuals of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, the kind of stripped-down sad-clown pathos reserved for classic Buster Keaton comedies, and one of the most moving love stories in a long time. Director Andrew Stanton kicked up the visual acuity of an already-stellar Pixar Studios in 2003 with his reflective, refractive, color-shimmery realization of FINDING NEMO's oceanic world, which genuinely felt as though it spanned the entire ...
