Fans and press alike have embraced the distinctive meshing of Irish and American cultures behind Saucy Monky. This diverse 2- singer band celebrates the partnership of songwriters Annmarie Cullen, born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and New Jersey native, Cynthia Catania.Their sophmore effort, TURBULENCE, is the follow-up to Saucy Monky\'s critically acclaimed debut album, CELEBRITY TRASH, which scored the band two hit radio singles in Ireland with the gloriously infectious \"DON\'T WANNA KNOW YOUR NAME\", (which was voted a top Irish single oby HOT PRESS) and the beautiful \"FLICKER\". Songs from the album have also been featured on various TV SHOWS including Veronica Mars, Drake and Josh and Zoey 101. TURBULENCE exhibits a more sophisticated, yet raw electro-acoustic growth from the garage sounding CELEBRITY TRASH.CHECK THE LINKS TAB TO THE BOTTOM LEFT OF THIS PAGE TO BUY OR DOWNLOAD MORE RECORDS FROM SAUCY MONKYQUOTES:“Saucy Monky shares a lot of the qualities of pop’s classic female-fronted bands — irrepressible melodicism and smart lyrics”. -LA Times “Every once in a while a band comes out of left-field with a record that announces their presence as major contenders in stunningly positive terms”-Niall Stokes, Hotpress (Ireland)“Saucy Monky certainly have the raw ingredients to emulate the success of bands such as No Doubt and the Primitives” Mick Heany, The Sunday Times (England/Ireland) Saucy Monky Turbulence Songs | 1. | Turbulence |

Turbulence
$12.29 BY A THREAD is Gov't Mule's first studio album since HIGH & MIGHTY was issued in 2006. Since that time, bassist Andy Hess has been replaced by Jorgen Carlsson, though Hess appears on two tracks at the end of the album. Carlsson's playing style is much more aggressive than Hess', and is therefore closer - in spirit anyway - to Gov't Mule's original bassist, the late Allen Woody, though he possesses an adventurous sense of time and is harmonically more colorful than either Woody or Hess. Carlsson and drummer Matt Abst are a solid match, since Abst is a drummer used to shifting time signatures and allowing the unexpected in while still driving a band. The band's keyboardist and rhythm guitarist, Danny Louis, is a shape-shifter, playing to whatever is needed in a given track. His manner of coloring sounds inside and around a particular tune's framework is a large part of what makes Gov't Mule's sound so fresh here - despite the fact that they don't stray far from what they do best. Warren Haynes and his guitar are, as usual, front and center, his guitar screaming, ...

Turbulence

Along with Styx and REO Speedwagon, Journey ruled the charts and radio airwaves in the early '80s. And like the aforementioned bands, Journey began in the '70s, so obviously the compilers of its 1988 GREATEST HITS release had a lot of material to choose from.
Journey's sound was a merger of hard rock, compliments of guitarist Neal Schon, and the melodic pop/ballads of singer Steve Perry. This resulted in such classic rock radio staples as "Any Way You Want It," "Separate Ways," "Open Arms," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Wheel in the Sky," and "Who's Crying Now," all included here.
Greatest Hits is an excellent, thorough 14-track collection containing all of Journey's big hits, from 1978's "Wheel in the Sky" to 1986's "I'll Be Alright Without You." Although the songs aren't presented in chronological order and a handful of minor hits ("Suzanne," "Walks Like a Lady") aren't included, it doesn't matter, since every essential Journey single -- "Only the Young," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Any Way You Want It," "Separate Ways," "Lovin', Touchin', ...
| | Kings Of Leon Only By The Night CD (2008)
Turbulence
$10.19 With their raw, organic sound, Tennessee's Kings of Leon emerged in 2003 as Southern rock for the indie-garage set, sort of a Strokes for the South. While there were hints of a new direction on their third album, BECAUSE OF THE TIMES, its follow-up, ONLY BY THE NIGHT, follows ...

| | What Bird Good Night Good Riddance CD (2008)
Turbulence
$10.15 What Bird is Julia Harrison and Winston Harrison. The duo from Nashville, TN describe their music as “late-night driving music,’ as they are most influenced by the dark, kinetic, peaceful, yet unsettling feeling of a late-night drive. Musically this translates to combining acoustic and electronic elements together with a dynamic rhythmic pulse to create a mesmerizing sound. Winston and Julia met as students at the University of Miami, where Winston studied jazz bass and Julia studied classical flute. After college, Winston toured with the Gabe Dixon Band while Julia attended graduate school at CalArts in Valencia, CA. The 30 mile drive from Los Angeles to CalArts and back every day provided a backdrop for Julia’s songwriting. Her late night drives through the winding and mountainous freeways lead the way to her collaboration with Winston, who had begun writing and recording ambient and IDM music under the name “Fuzzmuzz.” Julia and Winston found they shared a similar musical sensibility and formed What Bird. What Bird cites as influences: Everything but the Girl, Kristin Hersh, Eric Satie, and Arvo Part. What Bird, Good Night, Good Riddance, 2008 (Self-released, Indie) (5 of 5 stars)Good Night, Good Riddance is immediately comparable to Frou Frou and Sarah McLachlin. Organically electric in production, the record is filled with ambient ...
