Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories game The Final Fantasy series' PS2 opus is set in Ivalice, a land of swords and sorcery familiar to veterans of Final Fantasy Tactics. Here, magic and technology coexist, as do humans and other intelligent races such a s the leporine viera and the scaly skinned bangaa. Airships, in the form of high-tech hovercraft, are also common in this land of Ivalice, and players will pilot these sky-speeders for transportation, warfare, and (perhaps) even a little privateering.
Character development is designed to be as engaging and empowering as in any Final Fantasy game, and is accomplished by making strategic "license" choices in a chessboard-like graphic interface. Through the game's new "Active Dimension Battle" system, combat progresses in a pause-able real-time flow, offering a sense of action while retaining tactical options. Companion characters can be assigned customizable battle behaviors ahead of time, through the game's "gambit" system.
Ashe, the princess of a small kingdom called Dalmasca, is the star of the story, although she is joined by several other driven and distinctly skilled characters. The nearby Archadian Empire is in a period of reckless, vicious expansion, and as heir to the throne of Dalmasca, it falls to Ashe and her companions to save the sovereignty of their tiny nation from imperial usurpers.
War was on the horizon. Seeking to strengthen its base of power the great Archadian Empire had been invading and subjugating its neighboring kingdoms one by one including the small kingdom of Dalamasca. When the occupying Archadian forces established a new consul in Dalamasca's Royal City of Rabanastre it caught the attention of Vaan an urchin living on the streets. To Vaan the Empire was a hated enemy who had taken the life of his brother. Vaan hatched a plan to sneak into the castle housing the new consul and unburden him of one or two of his treasures. But before he would have the chance Vaan got far more than he bargained for a resistance movement of former Dalamascan soldiers rising up against the Archadian Empire was launching an assault! Amid the ensuing confusion that engulfed the castle Vaan saw something he could scarcely believe. there among the members of the resistance was the figure of the sole remaining heir to the Dalamascan throne the Princess Ashe who'd been given up for missing...

Final Fantasy X PS2 Playstation 2
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories review Square's acclaimed role-playing series makes its PlayStation 2 debut with Final Fantasy X. Players assume the role of Tidus, an athletic teenager who witnessed the destruction of his home city by an evil entity named Sin. While his life was spared, Tidus' contact with Sin opened a portal through time. Some 1,000 years have passed since the encounter, and Tidus now finds himself in a strange land with unfamiliar faces. As Tidus struggles to find a way back home, he will meet a variety of characters, including Yuna, a girl faced with the daunting task of defeating Sin.
Final Fantasy X features a number of new features over previous installments. Backgrounds and characters are rendered entirely in 3D, with real-time facial expressions visible on each character. When characters are surprised, for example, they will raise their eyebrows or open their mouths in astonishment. For the first time in the series, dialogue has been recorded using professional voice actors. The U.S. version features voices in English, with optional English subtitles selectable from the menu screen.
Refinements to the combat system include character-specific skills and abilities as well as the option to swap characters at any time during battle. While previous games involved playing with only three characters at a time, players can now manage a party by selecting three to fight and making substitutions as the battle wears on. This is possible through a turn-based system, allowing players to make decisions before initiating a move. As in the earlier games, players can use items, perform special attacks, cast magic, or summon powerful creatures to assist them.
A popular mainstay in the Final Fantasy series is the inclusion of mini-games. Final Fantasy X features Chocobo Riding, where players guide the bird-like chocobos through a series of training courses, and Blitzball, an underwater sporting event. Blitzball pits two teams of four players against each other as they attempt to score points by throwing a ball past the goalie. The action is primarily turn-based, where ability points determine the accuracy of passes, shots, and tackles. By competing in tournaments, players can earn experience and prizes for their characters.
Get ready for the next chapter in the Final Fantasy series. This verison will have amazing graphics great gameplay and intense battles. Are you ready for the next big step in role playing games? Final Fantasy X will be the first title in the series to be released for the PlayStation 2. The main character Tidus is a star player of blitzball a hugely popular full-contact sport. Yuna the female lead is a honest and determined young woman who learns the secret art of summoning and controlling spirits of yore. They are two people of widely different backgrounds and abilities who must work together as they journey through the world of Spira.

Final Fantasy X-2 PS2 Playstation 2
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories PS2 The first official sequel to an existing Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy X-2 continues the story of Yuna as she and two female companions set off on a combat-filled adventure to rescue hero Tidus from captivity. Taking place two years after Yuna's epic battle with Sin, the game also stars Riku and a new character named Paine. Once again actresses Hedy Burress and Tara Strong reprise their roles as Yuna and Riku, respectively, and are joined by Gwendoline Yeo as the voice of Paine. While many of the settings will be familiar to Final Fantasy X players, albeit expanded upon in certain areas, a number of changes have been made to the core game engine.
The Sphere Grid used to build a character's class has been replaced with a job system that has characters instantly switching between roles during battle. Jobs are represented by costumes, with each transformation influencing a character's hit points and abilities. Yuna, no longer aided by the powerful spirits known as Aeons, has learned the fine art of pop singing, which can lull enemies into a daze long enough for others to attack. The turn-based battle system used in Final Fantasy X has also been dropped in favor of "Active Time Battle" found in previous installments. The game's structure has changed as well, with players being given a series of missions to undertake in any order instead of following a scripted path towards the conclusion.
Taking place two years after Yuna s fateful journey to defeat Sin the once chaotic world of Spira has gone through a massive transformation entering a period of Eternal Calm . The people of Spira now shun the teachings of Yevon and have opened their arms to former foes the Al Bhed and the use of machina. It is a time of the Machina Revolution where people now believe that machina is useful and beneficial as long as it is used properly. However even with the peaceful life they now lived there is emptiness in Yuna s heart that is keeping her from moving on as the others have. One day Yuna obtains a mystical sphere that contains imagery of what might be the Blitzball player she thought was gone forever. Although Yuna isn t certain that it is him or if he is even alive she s driven to seek him out. Yuna needs closure to their unexpected parting even if only to find that she will never see him again. So begins her journey this is Yuna s story.

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories cheats Created with the support of two multimedia entertainment powerhouses, Kingdom Hearts provides a new adventure with some familiar faces. This 3D action-oriented role-playing title from developers at Square features popular Disney characters like Donald Duck and Goofy adventuring alongside more conventional Final Fantasy-styled heroes.
Tetsuya Nomura, who designed several of the characters in earlier Final Fantasy titles, supervised this game's development. In addition to the well-established Donald and Goofy, Kingdom Hearts introduces several new characters to the Disney universe.
The heroes must embark on a long and dangerous quest to rescue lost friends. Players guide thier characters through sleepy city streets and mysterious torch-lit tombs, facing clever enemies and large boss characters. Most of the action is played out in real-time. Though it features characters often associated with children's programs, Kingdom Hearts is designed to offer a thoughtful, serious role-playing adventure for gamers of all ages.
Kingdom Hearts is the story of Sora a 14-year-old boy whose world is shattered when a violent storm hits his island-paradise home and he is separated from his two closest friends Riku a 15 year-old boy and Kairi a 14 year old girl. At the same time there is turmoil in Disney castle. King Mickey is missing and Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy set out to find him. On their travels they meet Sora on his own search for his lost friends. The three are told of ominous creatures known as the Heartless - beings without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and as it turns out manipulated by Disney villains and the ones responsible for the devastating storm. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless the storm and the disappearance of King Mickey Sora Donald and Goofy join forces and heip familiar Disney heroes to save their worlds from the Heartless.

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories review The surprising collaboration between Disney and Square Enix returns in this follow-up to 2002's sleeper hit, Kingdom Hearts. Players will guide an older and more powerful Sora along with unlikely pals Goofy and Donald Duck in multiple worlds based on classic and contemporary Disney films. The action once again follows a party of three characters as they fight enemies, solve puzzles, and explore their cinematic surroundings from a third-person perspective. New features include a retooled camera system and a revamped combat engine.
The viewpoint is set farther back than in the original game, allowing players to see more of their surroundings, with the right analog stick used to further adjust the perspective. Kingdom Hearts II no longer includes platform jumping, focusing instead on the real-time combat. Sora can now perform double-team attacks and absorb the party's powers to transform into one of five stronger entities. Players can also swap party members during the heat of battle, perform context-sensitive attacks, and control the abilities of summoned characters like Stitch or Chicken Little.
Another adjustment is the initially playable character. Sora takes a back seat to a young boy named Roxas at the game's start, whose dreams help relay the storyline to those new to the Kingdom Hearts saga. Yet the biggest change in this sequel is the ability to visit new worlds from the Disney universe, including environments based on Steamboat Willie, Tron, The Lion King, Mulan, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Redesigned locales from the first game are featured as well, each offering alternate objectives to complete. As in the original, Kingdom Hearts II enlists the voice talents of such Hollywood stars as Haley Joel Osment, Mena Suvari, and Christopher Lee to bring the characters to life.
It has been a year since the events of KINGDOM HEARTS. Sora and friends are joined by a vibrant new cast of characters including the king himself. Together they will face countless dangers in worlds both familiar and brand-new. It seems the Heartless still exist. A new villain also awaits but is it an old foe behind the mask or a new menace? This mystery and others will be solved as the story unfolds in a grand adventure.

You must investigate murders rescue those who can be rescued and unmask the culprit behind it all - or risk being forever shrouded in the fog of doubt.
The paranormal Persona role-playing series continues on PlayStation 2 in this fourth installment. Building on the acclaimed third chapter of the freaky franchise, Persona 4 features a similar presentation and premise: you must balance daily life as a high school student while battling demons and other supernatural forces at night. The new storyline is set in Japan, in the pastoral town of Inaba, which has been upended with news of a ghastly murder. After more bizarrely staged murders take place, the protagonist and a few of his closest friends begin to investigate those responsible for the serial slayings. In between the sleuthing, the lead character will have to attend classes, build relationships, and complete part-time jobs.
The most significant change in Persona 4 is the combat interface. Instead of controlling one character and watching the computer AI guide the remainder of your party, you now have the option to issue commands for each teenager during the turn-based battles. The locales are also new, with television airwaves serving as the conduit to an alternate dimension. Once inside the shadowy realm, players can freely explore each area without having to worry about the time restrictions found in Persona 3. An estimated 60+ hours of content is included, with the decisions you make during your dual life influencing the type of ending you'll receive. As a special bonus, each retail copy of Persona 4 includes a soundtrack CD from Japanese composer Shoji Meguro.
