The vocals and the music are filled with originality in my view. The programming, the keyboards, and the guitars have awesome vibes and ideas that shine with every song. Incredibly different and changing yet listening friendly to these ears.The band's debut is beautiful, haunting, dark, devilish and very spooky. The opener Forever has fantastic keyboard to guitar solo playing that take you on a journey of loss, despair and wonder. In Flames (my personal favourite) is like a song out of the dark tomb. This song makes me think about the cover artwork with the strange statue binded by not an arm. Dark, bone chilling vocals and sound. Wish progressively changes into driving vocals and Ancient Curse has touched my heart for I have lost sight of a girl that I love and if I find her again I wonder will it destroy me. A song for those who want someone badly but can't have that person.Tears of Blood is probably the most put together. Its an epic tale that talks of lies and love, rhythmic drums and incredible guitar work here with a very cool ending. Time to Play reminds me of a giant beast coming into town ready to take on another in a great battle. Death, destruction, pulsation - just a whole galore of awesome effects - very devilish and demonic.From the funeralistic echoes of Remains to the dark romantic fairy tale like Rupunsel, Ancient Curse is definitely a must have and a ground breaking experience. Delve into the world of Resurrection Eve and you will never look back. All I know is I'm a fan and I'm grabbing their next album.
