Best Mini series ever
Captains and the Kings film Images from this story have periodically haunted and inspired me ever since I first saw it. I thought surely it would be broadcast again sometime because it was such a fantastic story and brilliantly cast but it never was.

emotionally and intellectually stimulating
Captains and the Kings review Taylor Caldwell's masterpiece is magnificently captured in this series. The conspiratorial view of history underlying the power of the rich in this story leaves one with mixed emotions and a testing of faith.

Captains and the Kings DVD for sale We first saw this movie in the mid 70s as a mini series on public television (back before VCRs, video rentals & very few had pay channels).

BEST MIMISERIES EVER ON TV
Captains and the Kings movie Powerful story, magnificent characters played by perfectly cast actorssme unrecosgnized as they should have been,---many now dead --and this work is so beautifully written and acted and photographed--a rare gem among TV productions.

Found it at last!
Captains and the Kings video Oh. MY. GOD. Like finding the Holy Grail! I saw this riveting masterpiece on TV, like four or five days of it, and the characters have lived with me for years.
